We decided to use the leisure facility if you can call it that I was told no towels by reception so he got one from another room asi again expressed I was not happy. I was tetchy as I had driven from Worcestershire to Cornwall then to Brighton.
I asked about the steam room and sauna which he pointed us to. He said steam room needed to follow instructions and it was quick to turn on. I said OK. When we got to the sauna it was cold and turned off by this point and having seen the state of the facilities I was way past been pissed off on this. I was also feeling bad as I wanted my son to relax before his audition in the morning. The steam room heated up in 5/10 mins so used that which was nice. The spa bath was not hot at all and for some reason stones in the swimming pool possibly for effect. The pictures of the leisure facility show the state of disrepair.

Never been to such a disgusting room in my life, how they have the nerve to let this room out was beyond me, the carpet was dated filthy and lumpy, pillows stains all over them, broken chair, chipped mugs, the list goes on, they should have paid us £92 to stay there, I wouldn’t let a dog stay there, needless to say we did not stay and we have to get in touch with yourselves for a refund

lovely meal in this refurbed Hotel .Really nice menu with good friendly service deserves to to well .The hotel had a really nice vibe with the front area being run as a pub ,large dining area at the back which was kind of sectioned of into smaller areas. The cooking and portion size was excellent.

We two have eaten 3 times since the new year and also twice with the Family. Every occasion has been very enjoyable in this newly opened restaurant. A large variety of courses and choices have almost invariably been excellent - I think we allow the odd personal doubt. Staff are excellent too and we feel it is good value for a relatively special dining experience.

Stayed twice. Problems both times and manager Angelo didn’t want to know. Really aggressive. Food at supper and breakfast absolutely disgusting. Rock hard pheasant and stone cold poached eggs. The refurb is beautiful so it’s a shame but you could always eat elsewhere in the town. With the exception of the manager the staff were all lovely.

Sunday lunch in the restaurant, the restaurant has been done up and is such a lovely place too eat. I took my mum and she loved it. The food was amazing and the staff so friendly and helpful. Was a great dining experience . Will return and definitely go in the summer too dine on the terrace.

Been looking forward to trying the restaurant since it re-opened but I have to say we were a bit disappointed. Went for my wife's birthday and wish I had chosen Cote instead. The restaurant has a nice feel and was quite full so had a good atmosphere. However the service was really quite slow, it took an hour to get to the main course, and although the food was tasty the portions were small and there was not enough sauce on my duck, nor gravy on my daughter's beef and ale pie. Given the upper end pricing they shouldn't be making the portions small, it is asking for disappointment. One saving grace was the sticky toffee pudding, which was lovely. So an average meal, maybe aimed at people who are staying, but they need to improve to pull in locals more than once.

The White Hart has reopened and the rooms have been extensively renovated and improved to a high standard. We have been coming to the White Hart for many years now, and it's good to see its historic character remain. The breakfast menu is comprehensive and it's good to have it served to you. Likewise, the dinner had a good choice of dishes was exceptional.
