The room was very small but comfortable but the hotel is tired and worn. We were concerned about the lack of fire escapes as there appeared to be only one stair case and the light is on a timer so cuts out half way. Breakfast was okay but expensive. some staff unpleasant as if asking for milk was an imposition. Touch of Fawlty Towers for those who remember.

The rooms were very comfortable, great pillows. Had some difficulty figuring out the coffee pot in the room. The coffee pot in the dining room was not working 2 of the 3 mornings we were there. Otherwise, breakfast was very good - good selection of bread, pastries. Really liked the ability to cook our own boiled eggs!

This is a great hotel in the center of town. It has free parking, which is a real plus even in October. The prices are great as well. This is probably because there is no lift. If that's a problem, then this is not your place. We have stayed here before and things have changed a bit. Breakfast is no longer included, available for 16 euros, and---paper cups in the bathroom. Plastic is bad enough, but cardboard is several steps below that. Come on guys--three star hotels don't use cardboard.

We have been to this restaurant a number of times over the last year, most recently in August. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food really is excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The menu offers a pleasant change from the standard Dordogne fayre.

This is a wonderfully managed beautiful historical mansion in the heart of prehistoric country. It's so beautifully situated--in this area every view is like a painting and its restaurant terrace is unrivalled. Standing in front of the hotel, with the bucolic Beune river to your right, the historic Mairie at your back, and the Abri du Musée to your left, nothing could be improved. The restaurant is very good and can be trusted to deliver excellent food and service. I have stayed here before and will again.

We were on the top floor in a standard double. Peeling paint. Worn carpet. Terrible, dated decor. Old furniture. Bathroom very dated and in need of renovation. Bed was okay. Perhaps there are better rooms in this hotel but the rooms we had were terrible.

I stayed here for only one night. I found the hotel to be clean, the rooms comfortable/well appointed and the location perfect. The staff were kind, helpful and efficient as were the wait staff in the restaurant. The food was very good, typical of the region and just what you would expect as a tourist. My waiter was knowledgable about the food and helpful in selecting wine by the glass. My only minor complaint I would bethe lack of a wall bracket for the handheld shower,

Chambre ensoleillée, très correcte sans moustique si on ferme la fenêtre avant le début de soirée. Petit déjeuner très bien. Bon dîner local. Accueil avec sincère gentillesse. On regrette l’ascenseur mais la montée d’escalier est recommandée par la faculté, alors allons-y avec le sourire !
