This hotel was amazing! Spacious rooms overlooking the water! Great breakfast buffet. Pleasant staff. Nice lounges for cocktails and wine. Conveniently located near the water and city center and walkable to restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!

Great stay here. The hotel is on the sea front, with terrific views of the bay. We did not have a sea view, but if I come again, I would pay the extra. Very comfortable beds, nice size room, plenty of towels. All the staff we great, good English speaking . We eat and drink at the hotel, very reasonable, lovely sitting on the Terrance with a glass of wine. We took breakfast in the town. Enjoyed the indoor pool etc, which was handy when it was raining. Very short walk to the town centre. Car parking was free if you park in the hotel spaces facing the hotel on the road. It’s very central so expect street noise. There was a Festa on when we arrived which went into the night. Great to hear everyone enjoying their selves. But could affect light sleeps.

We had a very good stay in Lekeitio. The reception staff were very welcoming and giving us all sorts of good recommendations upon arrival. The hotel is very well situated. The breakfast and restaurant was good. Unfortunately we visited during summer with temperatures above 25 degrees. We had rooms on the top floor and since the hotel lacks airco (which we knew upfront) especially the room underneath the attic was too warm to sleep in. The price hardly differed from the room we had with the balcony (bigger, large balcony doors and therefore more fresh air during day and night + fan on the ceiling). Which we found rather strange and unacceptable. We would recommend not staying in those rooms during summer.

Nice hotel but appalled that there was no fire escape procedure in the room. Reception staff advised the procedure was visible via a QR code on the TV which was not true. It took 2 days before we received the fire procedure. Staff appear to be missing important training

We were given a super room, large and airy, with a huge terrace overlooking the gardens and beach. Staff were super friendly, and our waitress arranged a freshly prepared breakfast for us each morning. We simply could not find a fault with this hotel, and are hoping to rebook later in the year!

This hotel was absolutely fabulous. Beautiful town, very welcoming staff. Our room was just the best. Location top. Loved it. The food was delicious and a super price. We booked the room with a sea view and balcony, it was a wow, listening to the sea from our bedroom. The bathroom was luxurious. We will be back

We had a great stay in this lovely beachside hotel. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. All the public areas are light and airy and the staff are friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and replenished throughout. Obviously the sea view rooms are preferable. The location is the perfect spot from which to explore this small peaceful fishing/seaside village. We would definitely stay again and would recommend.

We booked this hotel 6 months prior to our holiday. It was the last 2 night stop during a two week holiday in Basque and Rioja regions. As we wanted to rest a bit before returning home we reserved a seaside view room with a balcony. 10 days before our stay, we were notified that the room was not available but we could either cancel our take a road side room. We still tried to book another hotel but due to the short timeframe we were forced to take the lesser room. The room had no airco but a ceiling fan that made a huge noise. The minibar refrigerator was so hot you nearly boil an egg on it. At night we left the window open to get some cooler air but had to keep the thick curtains closed due to street lights. Result: we could hardly sleep and had no possibility to rest on a balcony during the day. .As compensation we received 2 days of free parking. We will never set foot in hotel of the Silken chain as they ruined our planned rest stop. Tu us this treatment was unprecedented.

We loved our deluxe sea view room with wooden floors and a terrace overlooking the beach. Wonderful views. There was plenty of storage space, the bathroom was large and the shower excellent. It was great to have beach towels provided in the rooms. The receptionists were friendly and extremely helpful. I think it might get a bit too hot in the high summer months without a/c but the large ceiling fan was fine for our stay. We were pleased to have an allotted car parking space (albeit rather expensive). I loved the location on the beach and being able to pop out for a swim several times a day so easily was just perfect. So perfect, in fact, that we returned a few days later for another couple of nights! A lovely stay! Disliked · We really appreciated having a coffee machine and a kettle in our room but the leads didn't reach the socket without moving the whole set-up. Our coffee and tea supplies were a bit inconsistent but the receptionists were happy to let us have what had been missed. We were there at the end of September and the hotel was lovely and quiet but we were told that the festival at the start of September can be very noisy.
