Premier Inn Leeds South (Birstall)

We were left sitting 40 minutes after ordering a meal while food was being brought out to other customers, including those who ordered immediately before us, to be told around 7.50pm that the chef was not going to cook any more that night as it was too cold in the kitchen. Apparently they had been having problems earlier but the manager had said to continue to take orders without telling us of the problem or the liklihood thst we might not get a meal.

Stayed here working away, staff were amazing, Molly was so helpful and friendly. Jenny was so attentive and sorted out some issues we had, if only everywhere had staff of this calibre. Had some issues with the food but the staff sorted it out efficiently.Hopefully I come here again soon!

I regualry stop at The Brickworks for work, and always find the staff, Karen & Vic, in the mornings, Cath, Jenny and Mollie, at evening time, really friendly and helpful. The staff have time for you as resident, always happy, even when the premise is busy, they still have time for you. The food is always well prepared and served hot. Breakfast through the week is freshly cooked to order. The hotel is very well located for both Bradford & Leeds, a very short drive from the Birstall shoping centre, with Ikea, and Showcase cinema on your door step. Rooms are always very clean and freshly made, often earlier than the advertised check in time, although that can carry an additional cost.

Great room, same standard as all other Premier Inns, unfortunately the heating system had broken down in the restaurant. But the food nevertheless was really excellent, it shocked us all. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. Car parking was great and free.

Rooms are good, road noise very low. A good nights sleep other than the first floor corridor is very creaky. Rooms well furnished with all the usual facilities. Helpful staff Restaurant (now closed unless you are a guest) was disappointing, with my food returned...it was cold, twice. The waiter was a little rude and generally this restaurant now lacks atmosphere, quality & service. Recommend the hotel, but eat out!

This is the best Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. It’s clean and well presented, however, what makes this so special is the staff. We have stayed more than once and Sammy in the bar and restaurant is polite, friendly and a real credit to the place. Karen on reception couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Both diamonds. Thank you.
