I could not be happier with our choice to stay at Devonfield. The entire 4 days we stayed here and toured the Berkshires, I didn’t see a single place I’d rather have stayed. The service, peaceful atmosphere and beauty of Devonfield is unsurpassed. Lee, MA is a great central location to 4 main hubs of the Berkshires. Lee is a sweet, clean, quaint town that is a great location to small town dining, but is also easily accessible to the Mass Turnpike/interstate 90. There are Tesla charging stations less than 5 min from Devonfield. Jim and Doug give great recommendations for fun sights and satisfying restaurants. Breakfast at the Devonfield is a wonderful experience. Freshly baked goods, tasty juices and fruits, and choice of sweet or savory main gives your day a gourmet start. The views from the dining room and porch are tranquil and idyllic.

I can't say enough about the Devonfield Inn. From the outstanding breakfasts, to the beautiful room, to the lovely Wine and Cheese gathering with piano music, but by far, the BEST hosts. They could not have been more accommodating to every detail. It was mind-blowing. Your local suggestions and hikes were perfect and we will, for sure, be coming back and telling others.

The Inn is beautiful! The furnishings are so attractive and comfortable. The grounds to walk around or just sit outside are so peaceful. Doug is so friendly, cheerful and kind. He helped with planning some activities. Jim baked a different coffee cake to have with breakfast each day. They were all delicious! Thank you for being a big part of our wonderful vacation!

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay here for 6 beautiful sunny days during peak foliage. Doug and Jim set the standard to which all establishments should aspire to achieve. Their incredible customer service and jovial demeanour make staying at The Devonfield not just a pleasure, but you feel like a friend. The inn itself is stunning and the breakfasts truly divine, but what makes everything so special is the way everyone is included and treated with such individuality. Doug gives recommendations on where to eat and what to do during the day with the exact amount of attentiveness, without being overwhelming (we are English, so probably quite reserved ha ha). We stayed in Jennifer Petite, a beautiful room with the most amazing bathroom overlooking the entrance. The location is perfect, tranquil and yet in easy reach of Lee, Lenox and Stockbridge. Don’t waste your time searching for accommodation, just book here and look forward to being thoroughly spoiled. Thank you for everything, you both made our stay wonderful!

Beautiful property! We really enjoyed ourselves. Rooms were beautiful and clean, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The owners were wonderful and friendly. The grounds were well kept. The wine and cheese happy hour was so fun! I would definitely go back.

Doug and his team went above and beyond to make our wedding day amazing! Doug did a wonderful job with the ceremony and the breakfasts were top notch, with several different options each day. There were so many special touches and surprises( I won't spoil it for perspective brides and grooms). The grounds are absolutely beautiful which made for great photos. Gorgeous inn, all decked out for Christmas, cozy and inviting. It was like staying in a lovely family home. The common area was especially great, tastefully decorated, with a grand piano and an old record player. Our room was spacious, with a hot tub and a great view of the grounds. Breakfast was delicious, peaceful and quiet.
