We've been coming here yearly for a decade now, and it just keeps getting better! Our room had some noticeable upgrades, despite it being quite good the last time we stayed in it. Erika's service (Peter was away during our visit) was as good as it gets. There was a mishap of sorts on our last night, and Erika came to the rescue--beyond the call of duty. Likewise, when we were leaving, Erika gave us something to help preserve our own food on the car ride back--again, well beyond what a host is expected to do for their guests! In my previous reviews, I've outlines all the many, many reasons why YOU should stay here too. All I can add here is that, if an Inn like this one is truly excellent--in terms of both the property itself and the service--and it actually gets even better, why would anyone NOT stay here? Make your reservations now, I assure you that you won't regret it!

From the minute you arrive, to the moment you leave, life seems to slow down and worries disappear. We stayed in the Southwestern room which was really wonderful with a great fireplace, comfortable bed and jetted tub. The ambience and decor was perfect. The host, Erika was responsive to my emails and helped in making my wife’s birthday a special one. Will definitely put this place on our list of places to visit again soon.

It was mine and my wife's 5 year anniversary and our hosts Erika and Peter made our stay one to remember. They were kind, helpful and had a heart to serve. We can not to come back with a bigger group to share in another "Abbey's experience" Highly recommend.

Very cute room!! Manager was kind and gives you your space. Check in and out was easy and the room was extremely clean. Bed was also so comfortable which was a plus!

The place is the perfect little getaway. My wife and I go there every year for just a 3 day weekend and it is the perfect relaxing vacation that we get being we are parents of 4. It is perfectly located and secluded. It is about a 5 minute drive to Foxwoods and a little more for Mohegan but also near mystic village. It is just a great place and the owners are very nice and make sure you are fully accommodated. We can’t wait to go again next year.

Our 2 night stay was so relaxing. The breakfast each morning was fantastic. The wood burning fireplace was so relaxing each evening. Erika was so nice and friendly throughout our visit. Loved talking with her at breakfast each morning. The room was the cleanest room I have ever enjoyed during our B&B experiences over the past 40 years. Lucky, the house cat, came by to say hi twice. This is a great place to relax, enjoy the area, revive in the Ledyard Ct area. I highly recommend Abby's Lantern Hill Inn.

Beautiful location. Rooms and property maintained at a very high level. Very cozy atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Erika is a gracious host. Not just a bedroom like in a hotel. It's more like a studio apartment. We enjoyed eating breakfast in the dining room. This way we were able to talk with Erika and get to know each other. Have stayed before this time and will definitely stay here again next time we're in Mystic.
