Only our third stay here since 1997, it is still an hotel which stands out for service, food and wine. In a peaceful village in the countryside, but not far from the A16 or from Boulogne-sur-Mer. This hotel is marked out by the excellent service from the family and staff. We enjoyed two nights so tried and enjoyed both menus and relaxed over coffees in the lounge. The wine list is representative of most of France but it is especially noteworthy for its collection of half-bottles. These are ideal for single diners, aperitifs, or just the option to try several different wines iwith a meal.

An excellent stay. Very warm welcome, pleasant rooms and great food. Very good value for money, feels much more luxurious than the price indicates. This our go-to choice every time we are in the area. Family run, and they are very friendly and efficient and provide a very relaxed break. Added bonus is the position in a quiet village but with good roads to St Omer and Boulogne and only a few minkes from a huge Auchun supermarket.

Lovely location set in a small village. The hosts are always incredibly friendly and attentive. We have been going here quite a few years now and will continue to do so. The rooms are clean and comfortable , they are not 5 star , but neither are the prices , they have everything we wanted , air con excepted , but fans are provided for hot days.

We have always found it difficult to find a good hotel near Calais, but we certainly have now. We stayed at this hotel for two nights earlier this month. It was comfortable and very welcoming. The dinners were good, and the breakfasts were truly excellent, although my boiled egg needs more than four minutes! We intend to return again soon.

Lovely chateau in a rural setting , lovely friendly hard working staff , who cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is excellent being freshly prepared. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant and the tv, if you stay in have some English channels . Nothing beats sitting on the patio sipping your favourite drink on a hot sunny day, or in winter sitting doing the same thing in front of an open fire

We were looking for a new place to stay close to the tunnel since the last place we used changed hand and went way down hill, I think we have found it here. The rooms are large and comfortable, not luxurious but perfectly comfortable and the restaurant offers proper French food at very reasonable prices. The staff are first rate, welcoming and very friendly in every area and we will be passing the details on to all our friends and family who also need a convenient start/end place for French trips. Hate to disappoint you but we WILL be back and look forward to it!!

This was our first visit since covid and it didn't disappoint. We have stayed here many times over the years and we were so pleased to find that the welcome, the food and drink and the ambience were still as good. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the menu. Highly recommended for a short break in northern France or a stop over at each end of your holiday. We are already planning our next trip in the Spring.

Lovely chateau and grounds. Easy to find 25 min from Tunnel. Staff pleasant, helpful , young and very professional. Room was large clean with comfy bed. ( wall maybe bit thin as noisy energetic couple next door at 1am) Excellent shower. Had dinner in restaurant which was gourmet and absolutely lovely as well as reasonably priced. Look forward to going back

Fantastic place for a stopover on our way back to the UK. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, it was so comfortable and peaceful. Rooms are so luxurious and very reasonably priced - soft comfortable beds and a well equipped, spotlessly clean bathroom. We enjoyed a wonderful meal on the terrace, and a lovely continental breakfast thr following morning. Highly recommended!
