La Jenny, Naturist Resort

My wife and I spent a week in July in La Jenny. It was awesome. We could truely recreate. The impressive (public) naturist beach nearby (5 to 10 min. walk) is supervised in a defined area where it is possible to bathe in the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The site has a large beautiful pool and offers various activities. We didn't need to wear clothes anywhere (swimming, cycling, ... , even shopping) just as described in the promotional video. Therefore we were able to reduce luggage and avoid tan lines. We lived in one one the chalets (Mésange) situated calmly in a pine forest. It was clean and tidy. Staff and fellow guests were very friendly. Although the region is famous for its wines my tip is also to taste the variety of great beers offered by the bars of the domain.

The table d’eden was not good tonight. It was the last night of the season but was very disappointing. I ordered prawns and scallops for my main course but when it arrived it was cold. I tried everything and it was all cold. I said to the waitress and she said she would sort it it. The same plate came back and I said that it cannot be reheated as it would be over cooked. The same plate came back a third time and the waitress said I could not have a new plate as I had tasted it and it meant I had eaten it. I said that was poor and it meant I had to leave hungry. They seemed okay with that. Really poor service and I will not be eating there again. Over the past few years I have eaten there many times and unfortunately they have lost my business by not handling a complaint well.

Perfect 100% naturist holiday resort. Forest, beach, all facilities and no need for clothes anywhere, any time. Quite isolated, but everything you need on site, including shops, restaurants, bars and the world's only naturist golf course!

We have been returning to La Jenny for the past ten years. La Jenny’s facilities are fabulous for all naturists, especially families , great restaurants, pools and beach. Why this review is only 3 stars is due to the accommodation. It is five star prices for two star standards. The chalets etc. have not had a euro spent on them in those ten years. It has now become too expensive for a couple, even the bigger chalets have tiny rooms, no TV, no Internet, no aircon and no fans etc. Yet you pay 5 star prices! It is a real shame that the owners are so apparently greedy. Unfortunately we won’t be returning despite it being the best naturist destination in Europe and elsewhere!

This was my second time to go to La Jenny and it was even better than the first. I stayed for two weeks and found it to be incredibly relaxing and fun. I enjoyed taking part in several different activities and loved going to the beach. I found the staff to be extremely helpful. I had some difficulty booking a PCR check for my trip home and they helped me through that. The chalet is small but functional, you’re not supposed to spending much time there anyway. I will definitely be going to La Jenny again in the future. The only mild criticism Is have is that the location of some of the activities could be explained more clearly. You can always ask at the information area but it is a bit troublesome to keep doing that. It would be easier if there was an interactive map on the internet which you could click on which showed where each activity was going to take place.

Voor een of andere reden vind ik dit domein super. Iedereen is er heel vriendelijk, zegt een goede dag, je hebt er alle ruimte en rust, ook tussen de bungalows. Maar als het weer echt niet meezit zoals dit jaar, zit je best ver van alles af. Het strand, het domein, het zwembad zijn pico bello netjes. De golven op het bijzonder grote strand zijn krachtig maar heerlijk. Gelukkig zijn er redders. Je kan er enkel bungalows huren (niet zo goedkoop, en soms ook niet meer zo nieuw). Het echte grote nadeel is dat je enkel van zaterdag tot zaterdag kan huren. Het supermarktje heeft een grote keuze. Je kan bij het zwembad ook iets eten en drinken. De auto staat bij de bungalow. De meeste van deze bungalow hebben een douche buiten. Het publiek is heel divers. De natuur is prachtig. Een fiets is absoluut noodzakelijk. Archacon en Bordeaux mag je zeker niet missen.
