At check-in, Gianpiero (from Calabria Experience) assigned me a small room at ground level (very noisy & with no privacy) .Only after I protested (because my reservation was made for a bigger room with a balcony), GianPiero told me that my room was under maintenance and thus not available, but that tomorrow he will switch me to another room. Next day I had to wait until noon when a kind of a housekeeper appeared to "clean"my original room which was not (you guessed it) under any maintenance at all! as any of the other rooms were neither GianPiero was dishonest and behave in bad faith ( I can not image buying any of his "Calabria Experience") and only because I protested, he kind of respected my reservation. Besides: -- The bar where you are supposed to get breakfast cooks terrible with even the worst service.I switched to another place next day; -- No toiletries in the room, hot water for a brief moment, incredibly narrow stairs that makes it impossible to take your luggage to the room (had to leave it in the car), awful housekeeping. Too many noise from a bar on the beach.Too many inconveniences to go on; -- Isola di Capo Rizzuto is not worth visiting . Restaurants are very bad but they charge you big city prices, people are uneducated and hostile towards strangers (as many people are in South Italy); it is confusing to arrive, you can see the same beaches somewhere else and if you insist in going, just visit the Castle (if you achieve such a goal) and get the hell out of there!
