The room was nice. The entrance to the parking lot had bad pot holes that need attention. The roadhouse was more than what I expected.

Great stay! We spent a night here on a road trip and had a great time.

I made my reservation for my young son and our new Yorkie puppy to stay for one night and my biggest disappointment was that due to flight delays I did not get to enjoy the room or the amenities that were available to me. The staff checking in and out were lovely and I will be staying there the next time I’m passing through town, hopefully for longer. :)

Place was easy to find and the breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable. It was great for the price. We would stay here again.

It is updated for the most part and the pillows are comfy. Only issues was our shower had little water pressure, the carpet kept the door from closing so you have to make sure you shut the door really well. The check in female was so friendly!

There were people above us very loud for several hours till after 1am. The HVAC unit would not turn off. Fan had to be on all the time. Loud noise and no consistent temp with air blowing on us all night.

Staff was very nice and helpful whenever needed. Rooms were a great size for our need - the suites were great with so much extra space. We did have some issues with some dirty linens but it was taken care of right away. Location is a little far from campus but it worked out just fine. Would stay here again for the price!

Adequate place to base out of for Lawrence trip. Clean, felt safe - good breakfast spread

The staff were not professional and the room was dirty. Outside, there is construction causing, a lot of noise. I don’t recommend.

The property is old and could use an update. There was an odd smell throughout, wallpaper peeling off the walls and an overall dingy and outdated feeling. Other hotels in the area are likely in a more convenient setting, closer to main roads and dining/shopping. But the service was attentive and friendly, and the breakfast was decent. It sufficed for our needs as a quick stop on a road trip, but we’ll look at other options next time we go through town.

The staff checking me in was so friendly and personable! He really made me feel welcomed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The property could use some cleaning up as there was trash about like empty booze bottles. And the hotel is ready for updating. But it fit my needs and I had no complaints with my stay.

It’s was decent for most part. Found toenails on the chair that were left there. Access is not the best. Incidental hold is wayyy to much. 150 a night is not necessary and always love the statement when u check out you automatically get it back. That is not true takes days. Front desk clerk claimed it was high because they are off the highway and a college town. No excuse we have stayed in over 30 hotels in the last year and none of them were that much.

Facility was clean. Check in personnel was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Gravy was cold. Top drawer of the TV stand/ dresser had nails sticking out of the front. Kind of dangerous. Just needs some attention. Overall, a pretty nice experience.

Only complaint is that they didn't have any toothpaste. Otherwise a fine stay
