ibis Styles Laval Centre Gare

Stayed here while attending an event hosted by Dick and Angel Strawbridge at the nearby Chateau de la Motte Husson - it was on their list of recommended places to stay and what a lovely place it was. Staff were friendly and helpful - rooms were comfy and clean and even breakfast included. Tea and coffee and chilled water on free vend in the foyer. Close to the train station and walking distance to the river and old town. Would definitely come back

It was hot outside, therefor the chilled lobby was nice. Checkin was convenient and efficient, and aslo the room wasnt prepared they enjoyed me in the waiting time. Breakfast is self-service with bread, buns, cereals, ham, cheese, fruits, some pastry and egg for self-boiling. Coffe and tea and juices are available too- so everything what is needed. The room wasnt really small, but a lot of collision points, but the well working AC (room under the roof), the good bed and the efficient bathroom compensate this. Checkout was also convenient, nice and highly professional, as I had to ask for some extras... The best: located in few minutes from train station and city center, so having dinner in the evening is not so hard as the ibis has no restaurant. Next time again.

we are a group of 5 motorcycle tourists who stayed here in may 2022 .The trip had been booked for 3 years (covid) ,On checking in i was told i had not booked parking (,which is something we prioritise for the bikes ) and the parking was full..however, Alice (manager) sprung into action and even moved her own car to make space for us , nothing was to much trouble.We also met Kumiko, who took time to speak with us and even waved us off the following morning . Lovely hotel and staff.
