The hotel was a 3-5 minutes walk from the metro station, which is a 15 mins transfer ride from Lausanne's main train station. The location is very nice, with the Geneva Lake right across the road. An easy, straight line walk to the Olympic Park and museum. Coop downstairs for simple groceries. The breakfast was super good, quality food and cooking. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious choices, service was very nice too. The breakfast here was my favourite along the way. Watching the sunrise by window seats was a bonus. The street was very quiet, overall a tranquil feeling during my stay. A number of restaurants within 5 minutes walk as well. The room was nice, they offered a personal care kit which was very helpful. You also get a free chocolate 😌

The people in the French-speaking area are generally more enthusiastic. The whole Lausanne is very beautiful. It is the most unforgettable place in the Swiss trip. The room service of this hotel is OK. The waiters in the restaurant and the lobby bathroom are very friendly. There is just a waitress in the swimming pool who has a bad attitude. The other staff are all good. It is 2 subway stops away from the train station. You can also walk from the train station, about 900 meters. Just walk straight to the lake after leaving the train station. The breakfast is OK. The room corridors are relatively new. Because we live in a new building, the corridors will have access control. There is a cafe opposite the hotel that is particularly delicious. You must go there. If you come to Lausanne next time, you will stay here again. Among the hotels I have stayed in Switzerland so far, this hotel is considered good. Later, we went to Grindelwald and stayed there. It was simply amazing. I miss Lausanne!

The location is very convenient, just opposite the train station. The front desk lady is very good and considerate. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, suitable for business trips. There is a subway station downstairs, which can go directly to the Olympic Museum. There is a good Chinese restaurant nearby, and I ate there for 2 consecutive days. In addition, the hotel will give a city transportation pass. The hotel still does not provide slippers and toothbrushes, but you should be able to get them if you ask the front desk. The picture is the exterior of the hotel, with Lake Geneva in the distance, which is very beautiful.

I stayed for three nights, and overall it was good. The location is right next to EPFL, walking past is the Rolex learning center. In addition, there is bus 701 directly to Morges at the door, and bus 1 directly to Lausanne, Gare. The gym is on the ground floor of the third building. It is a bit difficult to find without any instructions, but if the weather is good, running along the lake is actually the best! The scenery is so beautiful! The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is still good. There is a daily set menu Plat du Jour, which is still very professional. The room is not big, but it has everything you need. Overall, it is still very good. The attitude of the check out at the front desk is relatively indifferent, so I lost some points, but everything else is pretty good.

Magnificent castle, very beautiful history. Close to the center. Very nice staff. A perfect welcome.

Single room, not big but with basic facilities, room number on the carpet at the door, small electric kettle for boiling water, sockets in room with Swiss, British, European and American standards, WiFi throughout the hotel. The view from the top floor breakfast room is very good, you can see Lake Geneva in the distance and the French town on the other side, but unfortunately the sunrise is late in winter, it should be beautiful in summer, breakfast is basic, not too many varieties, taste is also satisfactory. The location of the hotel is very convenient, the front desk will give you a Lausanne transportation pass, you can take all Lausanne indoor public transportation for free during your stay (excluding boat tickets to Evian), 50 meters walk to M2 subway Grancy station, you can go to Ouchy Pier or the old town in two directions, 3 minutes walk to Lausanne Railway Station, 5 minutes walk to Coop supermarket, daily necessities can be bought, you can also take a bus nearby to EPFL.

The location is right by the sea, the view is excellent, some rooms may not have a lift, there is a luggage service, there is a parking lot, but the location is limited, you need to take the subway to the old town of Lausanne, the hotel will provide a free subway ticket.

The whole family of four stayed in two twin rooms, the location was very convenient and the service was very good. Because the water in the faucet can be drunk, there is no need for a kettle. Sanitation is relatively clean. The facilities are simple.

The rooms feature lighted images of fishes and sea or water themes. I often go back in this hotel and always get another room with another image to learn from. Rooms are very clean, the place is good for going to aquarium, CHUV or epalinge, next to metro station. Sauna and hammam are okay. Food is good. My favourite hotel in Lausanne even if it's nothing special.

As good as ever, definitely the number one hotel in Lausanne. It has no shortcomings except that it is expensive. Although the hotel is old, it is very well maintained and every detail is in place.
