It's located near the town of Talihina and is less than 30 minutes away from the Talimena Scenic Drive. This beautiful home is located at Mountain View Retreat and sits on 37 acres with 3 other small cabins. Wanderlust
Beautiful cabin with well knit amenities. Mountain View and sunroom is mesmerising rising blend of stay. It is difficult to spend more time around fire pit and sitting area. Some kind of insect repellent lamp or candle would have made it easier.

A beautiful getaway with amazing views
Our entire family stayed- and we were very comfortable there. It was peaceful- and the view can’t be beat. The sunrises were great every morning. Very clean property and we can’t wait to stay again! Thanks for accommodating our family. We loved it!!

Eclipse weekend
We booked over a year ago to watch the eclipse. The Elk house was fantastic! We enjoyed fishing, the stunning view, the beautiful wild flowers. Our hosts even asked us to stay and watch the eclipse with them and made us lunch! We had a perfect weekend, we never left the property, I can’t wait to book our next trip

Love Love This Place!
We were looking for a quiet getaway, and this was perfect. The house is huge on the inside, with 4 very comfortable bedrooms. Very clean and well maintained. And fairly remote. Not sure how we were so blessed - but two nights we were there, we sat on the back porch watching thunderstorms lighting up clouds in the distance. Beautiful. The mountain views were great. There are several smaller cabins on the same property, which were empty when we visited - so it was exactly the quiet getaway we needed. (It's about a 15 minute drive into Talihina, where we did go to AJ's butcher shop for groceries a couple of times.) This just became our go-to getaway! We'll be back.

Lovely
The place is beautiful . The view was so breathtaking .
We enjoyed the fire pit . Host was friendly and responded quickly . We totally enjoyed our time together . Lots of little touches that made it seem like home away from home ❤️
