Villa Serena is very well named. I can not think of anywhere in the world I have vacationed that has offered a more peaceful stay. Beginning with the spectacular view and warm welcome by staff, my huband and I had immediate gratification that we had picked the perfect spot to relax for a few days. It was very quiet during our 4 day retreat but when we left today, Friday, it appeared a lot more people were coming in for the week-end. But during our booking period the restaurant was sparsely filled, we saw few people and heard no noise from our room, on the spacious balcony or anywhere on the hotel grounds. And the sounds we did hear were delightful and life affirming: the lapping of waves, the songs of birds, a rooster crowing far off in the distance. The hotel and grounds are immaculate, the food nicely presented, the walk to the beautiful La Playita public beach accessible and easy (though I did get a little lost returning). This was our 4th excursion to the Samana Peninsula....and by far the best one thanks to the natural beauty of Villa Serena.

Everything was perfect, we will come back. 😍 The villa is a quiet place, whit a beautiful beach and very good food. The massage was one of the best we had in our lifes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Thanks a lot to all of the Villa Serena.

Excellent hôtel for a quiet and restfull holiday. We had a Lovely room with sea view on the 2nd floor and enjoyed the place very much. Lovely walks on the Beach and the restaurant is also very good. I really recommend it and we ll be back! Staff is very helpfull.

Very nice place, quiet an relaxing. Stuff is very, very friendly ans helpfull. The Breakfast we all liked very much! The opportunity for yoga ans sports is fine and the place for that directly located at the beach is outstanding especially the oceanview and the light brezze.

The service was amazing, special thank you to the bartender that was so sweet and made us try the best drinks! The beds are super comfortable. Dreamy location. The hotel would maybe need a little refresh. Nice menu with a lot of vegan options!

I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The room is spacious and had two large beds, the bathroom was beautiful with large mirror and a bathtub. The balcony had ocean view and a hammock. There is a restaurant inside the property, a pool and a yoga barn. And a small private beach with turquoise water :) La Playita beach is near by ( walkable distance) and it’s sooo pretty! You can watch the sunset there as well. I had a great time at Villa Serena and next time I go to Dominican Republic, I’ll definitely stay there again.

This place is located in one of the most beautiful spots in DR. If you are looking for a very relaxing vacation, this is a perfect place. The satff is very friendly and helpfull. From the hotel you can book a boat to go to many beaches nearby that only can be reached by bota such as Fronton, Playa Colorada and end your journey at Playa Rincon where you can eat and spend the day in this white sand beach.

Once again a truly beautiful time at Villa Serena. I would go for the ocean views and breeze alone, but once you add on the amazing masseuse Maria, the trip becomes perfect! Warm and friendly staff, and yoga in the morning.

After walking past Villa Serena on a previous visit we vowed we would be back to stay! It’s been amazing. From initial reservation through to our arrival and stay. The staff are amazing. Yoga every morning with Angelina has been fabulous…. The right way to start the day. A short walk to our favorite beach La Playita….lazing around the swimming pool and enjoying a great array of cocktails from the Tiki Bar. The massages are to die for! The food has been delicious. Great selection at breakfast with fresh fruits, numerous cooked options and some very special veggie juices. Dinners too have not disappointed. Most of all the staff have been so friendly and professional. New Year’s Eve tonight at Villa Serena will be memorable!
