Lola's Guest House

Stayed two nights in room three, Seaview, poor Wi-Fi and no wifi at the pool. The pool is small but nice and clean, the pump was not running when we were using it. Rooms are recently renovated and clean. Construction worker next door has very loud radio, so I bought him a beer to turn it down. The bed is extra firm with rough sheets, closet has no hangers, and toilet dubai does not work. AC is good. There's no TV in room. The fridge is down in the lobby and there is no safe. Help yourself water, coffee, tea, and fridge is in the lobby as is a TV. This is where you eat your breakfast which is very simple but nice. The owner is helpful with airport transfer and other information. You're on your own for lunch and dinner. The street outside is dark and scary, no sidewalks. I would recommend staying in New Town three kilometers towards the airport. Three nice hotels, many shops and restaurants and very safe. There's nothing to do in Cebu, so if you just want to chill don't stay in Mictan, here's two good options: Seda Central Bloc Multi-use Hotel 5 star and Westown Lagoon Cebu.
