Hotel is 15 min from the airport, which is far from the city center. Stayed for one night for a short layover. Room was clean and new. Phone data connection the was very very weak in the area, although wifi was very good. Service was superb, as the front desk lady kindly arranged takeaway breakfast and suggested time to leave for the airport.

This is a very clean, reasonably priced hotel, close to the region's best museum as well as Lanzhou's High Speed railway station (LanzhouXi/Lanzhou west) The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive. This hotel has spacios, comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast buffet. I will stay here again the next time I am in Lanzhou! Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is a little off, but it is really super quiet, no need to worry about noise. We booked here for the first night, and we also booked here when we returned from Ningxia. The children specifically wanted to stay here. The hotel staff are super nice. The children in my family especially like a thin and small sister with glasses. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name. When I checked out, the sister happened to be off work, and the children kept looking for her in the lobby to say goodbye to her. The restaurant's breakfast beef noodles are a thumbs up. Lanzhou is really a warm city. I will go there again if I have the chance in the future, and I will also recommend it to friends who are going to Lanzhou.

It was a good decision to choose the Holiday Inn Express under InterContinental for this stay. I had authentic Lanzhou beef noodles in the breakfast restaurant. The noodles were prepared by a chef on site. You could choose the width of the noodles and the soup was freshly made with bone broth. I highly recommend the signature beef noodles. The 40-square-meter room has the same layout as a star-rated hotel, and is completely different from the smart hotels I've stayed in before. It's a small hotel with floor-to-ceiling windows that let sunlight fill the entire space. It also has a reclining sofa. I asked for a humidifier, which was delivered quickly. The room was warm and the heating was strong. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and I slept soundly all night until dawn. Oh, the beds in this hotel are 2 meters wide, so it shouldn't be crowded for three people to stay with children. There are also good hygiene details, and the room has 4 bottles of free mineral water. Whether it is a business trip or a vacation, I think this hotel is worth staying in at 300 yuan. I also read the negative reviews before booking, but I did not encounter any inadequate service at the front desk. They were quite enthusiastic and any problems were solved promptly. I would still choose InterContinental if I had the chance.
