The location is right at the point for access to Sunset Cruise. We reserved the family room with 2 double beds with a mountain view, which has monkeys outside of the window.
Unfortunately, we don't have seaview room, luckily we have a chance to have seaview during buffet breakfast, the food is so so, nothing much to choose, hope to have variety foods in the future.
The security head with blue shirt is very helpful, who always help to search for parking spot for us.
Swimming pool located at LG is too small.

Good value for money. Our room had a view of the bay. The staff are amazing, breakfast was also OK for the price. This hotel is a little dated, , you can see that rooms are somewhat tired. I didn't like the blue towels in the bathroom, they had a funky smell. Otherwise, it's truly worth the money.

For those who travel with kids I would recommend this hotel. Spacious room, large car park space, even the building looks old but your room look nice and if you lucky enough can get room with sea view. You can see the ship and ferry from your room. Hotel also has their pool and kids mini splash, love it.

The hotel is quite old. TV channel is just standard dtv malaysian (some channels is not received too) The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious. They have a bathtub in the bathroom but the water temperature often changes. It is difficult to get the desired temperature. The room is not very clean and there is an unpleasant smell. The way to the room is also dim with broken lights. We Stayed for 3 nights with breakfast. 2 days of early breakfast and a little because of many activities. The last day came late around 9:30am unfortunately at exactly 10am they had turned off the lights in the area to take food. More disappointing, they also turned off the coffee water mixing switch and lifted all the cereals inside. The chef also told other staff to clean up the food preparation area while there were still customers there. In many places I have been to, this is the first hotel that is very rude to treat customers like this. The food is not good, the attitude is also bad. The food at the night market opposite this hotel is much better! This hotel does not reflect the 4-star standard at all and I think with the experience I have had they do not deserve it.

Smooth check in and Reception staff were all great. Room was spacious. The problem with my door access card was fixed in about an hour or do. General maintenence of the premises could be improved as the WC in the room was continuously leaking water wasting a lot of water. General cleanliness could also be improved but we have to remember that this is a 2 * hotel. Dogs can be heard barking at night which can disturb your sleep. Apart from that, it was a comfortable stay.

The hotel exceeded expectations with a room that perfectly matches the advertised photos. The space is spacious and cozy, with a thoughtful layout that includes a separate basin area, adding convenience and style. It's definitely worth the price, offering great value. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to several seafood restaurants and providing stunning views of the spectacular Maha Tower. A great choice for both comfort and convenience!

+ : Room was comfortable, with everything I needed: comfy bed, hot water and aircon. Unfortunately, there were no window (budget room). Location is somewhat okay, Kuah Night Market and ferry port are within the walkable distance. Staff is absolutely adorable and welcoming.
- : Check-in time is unreasonably late, I needed some rest before catching my flight and I had to wait for quite some time. Weird 50RM room deposit. There are some eerie noises coming from the bathroom (could be pipes or something). Also I could hear the nearby construction/renovation, it was rather annoying (May 2024)

While the hotel is old, it is well-maintained. The room was clean, and I appreciated the spotless bathtub and the large windows that allowed plenty of natural light in. The mood lighting in the room was just right, creating a cozy atmosphere.
The gym is not large, and the equipment selection is limited, but it’s decent for a quick workout. The dry sauna was surprisingly spacious, with separate areas for men and women. As for breakfast, the selection was not extensive but sufficient, and the taste met my expectations—I didn’t have a hard time deciding what to eat.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth. While the price felt slightly high compared to hotels in Kuala Lumpur (likely due to school holidays), it was still an economical option considering the service and facilities provided. Overall, a pleasant stay in a convenient location!

Staff was great, helpful and attentive. Good breakfast and dinner was cheap and tasty. Location is a bit out of the way but we had a rental car and we would’ve been fine with grab as well.
Nice pool with seating and there was entertainment on Saturday and Sunday evening. Room was big enough for the two of us, we got a WhatsApp the day before to ask if we wanted a double bed instead of 2 single beds.
Only slight downside was the air conditioning which took a while to cool the room down, other than that we had a great stay.

Adya Hotel Kuah Langkawi is conveniently located in the heart of Kuah Town, within walking distance of various eateries, duty-free shops selling chocolates and kitchenware, and Langkawi Parade shopping mall for more retail options.
The hotel has an Islamic-inspired design, which gives it a unique character. However, the lobby felt warm as the air conditioning didn’t seem to be functioning well. Upon check-in, I noticed the welcome drinks were available, but clean glasses often ran out. The front desk staff were okay—not particularly warm, but efficient. A RM100 deposit was required during check-in, and since I didn’t have MYR, I used SGD50, which was accepted and later refunded in the same currency.
The biggest drawback was the air conditioning on Level 4, where my room was located—it wasn’t working, making the hallway stuffy, especially with the lingering smell of fresh paint. The room itself was spacious and generally fine, though one of the lights couldn’t be turned off, which was a minor issue. The provided toiletries were basic, so bringing your own would be a good idea. Additionally, the door latch was faulty, preventing us from double-locking the door.
On the plus side, the hotel has a large parking area, which is convenient for those driving. Overall, it’s a decent choice for a short stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in maintenance and guest experience.

GGuest UserStayed in a hotel for 3 days. Hotel near the airport, 10-13 minutes drive. Hotel staff is very kind, friendly, helpful. They greet you with few welcome drinks for a few days. Enjoyed large swimming pool with nice greenery view. Beach in 10-15 minutes walking distance. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel looks old. Budget friendly hotel.

AAng Leong ChoonFirst night was terrible. Lobby reception packed with check in customers. Hosted at a room for check in guest with coffee and cakes. Finally got a room at 5pm. Given a room that is opposite the lift, low floor, noisy, facing the entrance carpark which I already remarks that during the booking, I dun take room facing the lift and asking for higher floor, ended at 2nd floor. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE on the first day. 2nd day, Duty officer rearrange to a new upgrade room at level 5 which is accessible to the sky pool. Served a bottle Penfolds wine and cake for us. The new room was fantastic, finally we got the vacation feel back.

Though there were some initial hiccups in terms of long waiting time with lunch and Dayang cafe and cleanliness with the jacuzzi, but the entire stay is filled with wonderful memories over this New Year 2025! Rooms are cleaned daily but bathrooms need more cleaning. Towels are clean and fresh but need replacing as they look old and less white. PPuteriShaharimanWe stayed at Rebak Island Resort for 4 days 3 nights, one of the best experience we had. I will list the pros n cons -
Pros:
1. They hv free scheduled ferry so u can go to cenang from rebak or vice versa. Make sure to plan ahead
2. So many activities on the island itself- kayak, atv, cycling, pool, beaches, nature walk, yoga, etc (some need to pay)
3. Friendly staff
4. Free buggy service in the resort
5. Serene and peaceful resort
6. Love the BBQ on saturday night (rm90/head)
7. Breakfast was good
Cons :
1. Rebak island is located at southern side of langkawi while most tourist attraction is at the north near tanjung rhu or near town area. Bit far to travel and need to make sure the ferry schedule match since u need to take ferry out from rebak to cenang first
2. Would suggest to go here and just do activities around rebak. We spent only 1 day to visit the mangrove and shop at Billion. The rest we only stay at rebak and join the ATV n kayak there.
3. If you want to go out of rebak, the nearest is Cenang. They hv paragliding there and fire dance at night.
4. While i think kayak and ATV are worth it (rm90/head), other activities by the hotel (cruise, jetski, mangrove, snorkling) are overpriced. You can get it cheaper booking from the locals / klook
5. Very disapointed with their ala carte dinner menu. We ordered thai green curry, tom yam goong, calamari and apple crumble. Tbh it tasted like the ones sell on the street. Not authentic at all and tasted not good. The moment i saw brocolli in my tom yam goong i knew its bad
6. We took the sea view 1 bedroom, quite far from the lobby but still walkable. You can call for buggy if you are lazy to walk
Overall i love it. The best memories we had is the kayak. We were greeted by otters! Apparently their house is just near the island so high chance for you to see otters there!

BBDS234A perfectly situated hotel very close to the beach and restaurants/cafes. The rooms are spacious and the pool & bar area are very nice. The pool is a good size and there are a decent amount of sun loungers but you have to get up very early to secure one in the morning. We managed to get one in the afternoons pretty easily. Overall a great choice if you are staying in Pentai Cenang area and dare I say the only choice.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff be it front door, or check-in counter pr driver, are very friendly, always wear a smile. Mr Sharul, the driver who drives us to Cenang Beach is very helpful and considerate, always checking if the car ac is ok. The staff at the pool who always keeps the pool clean is commendable. I'm impressed with the hotel. I like the hotel ambience and brightness. Will stay again.

Our stay was very pleasant, and the excellent service and friendly staff significantly contributed to the positive experience.
Pros:
1. Excellent amenities: The rooftop pool offered stunning sea and sunset views. We especially loved the jacuzzi, which provided good privacy as it was separate from the main pool. The 24-hour gym, with its sea-facing view, was also a highlight.
2. Each room featured a bathtub, adequately sized for one person.
3. The hotel's location was convenient, near Cenang Beach. While not within walking distance, Grab rides were readily available and inexpensive (approximately RM5-6 per trip). Several massage spas were also within a 5-7 minute walk.”
4. The hotel staff, including those at the front desk, porters, and restaurant staff, were consistently helpful and friendly.
5. The hotel is new, and requests for replenished toiletries were handled promptly.
Cons:
1. The food at the rooftop pool bar was disappointing and overpriced. While the cocktails and beer were satisfactory, the food quality was subpar. We ordered calamari, which was shockingly small (see attached pictures - fewer than 10 pieces, with the first two large pieces being onion rings with no squid). This small plate cost RM28, which felt excessive. We would have preferred to spend that amount on another cocktail.
2. The breakfast experience was underwhelming. Although the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, the food itself was not tasty. The main course was served as a set meal (one serving per person), and the beverage and salad bar options were limited. Over our 4D3N stay, the menu remained unchanged.
3. Daily room service consisted only of replenishing toiletries, towels, and water bottles, and making the bed. In four days, the floor was not vacuumed once. There was noticeable hair on the floor, which was never cleaned up. Even at home, we typically sweep our floors aevery other day.
4. Sea view rooms on the 6th floor have their view largely obstructed by trees.

SSk Husain SK TaherFrangipani has potential to be one of the best in langkawi but sadly falls short it pains me to say anything negative because of their great service and hospitality but my criticism comes from a good place only wishing them to become better.
First the things going for this place is the location
Right at the beachfront you need to hardly walk a few steps regardless where your room is. Its Ideal place for elder vacationers and families with small kids.The beach has fine sand no jagged stones and its a huge private beach.The water is not clear or blue as would hope for but it is clean only even for this reason the stay is worth it.The place is serene with trees and plants. There is no high rise construction all the accomodation is on the ground atmost on 1st floor.Its all in villa style.The concept of being environment friendly is inspiring and rare in hotel business.
The second amazing thing abou this resort is its service and hospitality which felt genuine. You truly feel like guests here. Nothing in this resort speaks of commercial. I am really grateful that they modified my bookings eventhough by rule modification wasnt allowed.Almost every employee in the resort greeted us with smiles . At the buffet the manager was very cordial and responsive to guest needs even special requirements.
Unfortunately the resort has become old and needs dire maintainence and renoavtion.
The main doors if the room have a cheap feel and lacks weight doesnt feel premium.
The quality of paint on the walls is inferior quality .
Paint has not been applie in a professional way. All the furniture in the room is wooden which is a good things but it is worned down hasnt been polished or painted properly its all blotchy which makes it feel cheap.
Tauting it self as a green resort the landscaping is just not up to the mark, too much yellow in between the greens. The grass is unkempt and many places it seems it hasnt been cut in a while.
The swimming pools are very small in comparision to the resort and lacks sauna or steam bath.
Of 2 jacuzzis one was out of order.
All over the resort there are many such amenities
That are put of orders broken and dilipidated surprisingly all these issues can be addressed very easily i am speaking from experience i am willing to take a contract if the owner wants and i can turn around the resort at an econimical price.
I think the resort has come into a comfort zone from which it needs to come out.

GGaileyBeeI recently booked a 4 night stay at this hotel. Upon arrival Syam greeted us from our Grab taxi and was so helpful and took our bags. The check in was easy enough with just the tourist tax to additionally pay. I had requested a Beach Wing room. Syam took us to our bedroom and explained about which water was okay to drink.
The room was huge, lots of space and a balcony. Air con as well as a ceiling fan.
The bathroom was very dated and we did have a few issues which we made do with but the bathroom could have done with some renovations. The shower flooded the whole bathroom due to the cracked and broken ledge separating it, (see photo) there was no shower door so no way of preventing the water leaving the shower. The towels were fluffy and a generous size.
Breakfast had a good selection and they do cook fresh eggs or omelette. The staff everywhere were all extremely welcoming and friendly.
The pool was great and easy to get a sun lounger as so quiet.
The beach again was great, the sea perfect of you had children as very calm and shallow.
Overall a lovely stay but would be nice to have an upgraded bathroom.
