Hotel dekat Kepulauan Brygge, Copenhagen

Lokasi strategis. 20 menit naik metro dari bandara dan hotel ini dapat dicapai dengan berjalan kaki sebentar dari stasiun dan stasiun kereta api pusat. Meskipun jalurnya berbatu, menyeret koper bisa jadi sulit. Saya memesan kamar single dan setelah sampai di kamar pertama, saya menyadari harus menaiki tangga untuk sampai ke kamar. Saya langsung berbalik ke resepsionis untuk meminta pindah kamar. Saat itulah saya diberi tahu bahwa semua tipe kamar single berada di 'lantai bawah' yang memiliki tangga. Saya berharap seseorang menyebutkan hal ini di ulasan sebelumnya. Menyeret koper berat di atas karpet saja sudah merepotkan, dan ini diperparah dengan adanya tangga di antaranya. Kamarnya kecil, tetapi mereka telah menambahkan fitur-fitur cerdas untuk memaksimalkan ruang. Saya suka konsep lemari pakaian terbuka dan bagaimana mereka menggabungkan rak koper dengan ***a lipat dari cermin/lemari pakaian. Area pancuran agak kecil, tetapi tekanan air dari kepala pancuran hujannya bagus. Tempat tidur dan bantalnya lebih empuk daripada yang saya inginkan. Bantalnya empuk banget, rasanya hampir sama enaknya dengan tidak punya bantal. Sarapannya luar biasa, dengan pilihan kue kering, roti, potongan daging dingin, yoghurt, sereal, telur, dan sosis yang lengkap. Saya suka stafnya yang sangat sigap mengisi ulang makanan yang hampir habis dan membersihkan piring.

Loved our stay. Location is easy and close to central station. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. ‘Cosy’ room was small but it’s what we expected and we didn’t spend much time in there so was perfect for what we needed. Highly recommend

Sarapannya biasa saja dengan variasi terbatas. Saya kira itu empat baris makanan tapi ternyata dua set makanan yang sama. Membuat wafel sendiri itu menyenangkan. Hotel ini berada di lokasi yang bagus, dan kamar di tepi danau mempunyai pemandangan yang indah. Letaknya pada dasarnya di dalam kota dan sangat dekat dengan stasiun kereta.

I can’t imagine a better location for a stay in Copenhagen. Being right next to the main train station made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient. The room was just the right size for a couple, and the in-room sink was a thoughtful touch that made getting ready in the mornings and evenings much smoother. The shared bathrooms were also a pleasant surprise — each toilet and shower had its own private cubicle, which felt much more comfortable and well-designed compared to typical hostel setups. The room didn’t have air conditioning, but the fan provided was more than enough for me, even though I normally run hot. We noticed the room could feel a bit stuffy with the windows closed, so we tried to keep them open as much as possible. The downside was that the street noise from people and cars at night sometimes disturbed our sleep. The only other drawback was the luggage storage. It’s not included in the stay, and there’s an extra charge of 40 DKK per bag for the day, plus a 5 DKK service fee per bag. A small detail, but something worth knowing in advance.

Copenhagen Downtown Hostel – Capsule Stay Review This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel in Copenhagen (£80 per night), after hearing positive feedback from friends who had travelled here. I decided to try the quiet zone option with a comfortable capsule located near the hostel facilities. Pros: • Excellent location in the heart of the city, with restaurants, bars, and cafés within walking distance. • Easy access to all main attractions. • The capsule area was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I left with mixed feelings. While the location and cleanliness met expectations, the hostel’s operation style felt more “self-service” and less attentive to guest concerns. On the first night, my sleep was disrupted by a guest in the quiet zone who was both noisy and snored loudly throughout the night. It affected everyone in the vicinity, and despite some guests (myself included) gently knocking to try and reduce the disturbance, it continued until morning. On the second night, the same issue occurred, but it was made worse by a sudden emergency alarm at around 4:45 AM, requiring all guests to evacuate and wait outside for inspection before returning to bed. Understandably, safety comes first, but the timing and the combination of disturbances made it impossible to rest. When I tried to contact staff in the middle of the night, there was no one available, so I had to raise the issue through Trip.com. Although staff later offered some coins as a goodwill gesture, it did not feel proportionate to the £80 per night rate... especially when nearby private rooms can be found for much less. Sadly, what I hoped would be a unique and comfortable stay turned into a frustrating experience. I will not be returning, and I would advise light sleepers to consider alternatives.

I arrived in the evening and the reception welcomed me warmly. I asked for some ice cubes and they kindly gave them for free. My room was on the 12th floor, but the lift was frustratingly(super) slow, definitely troublesome if you’re in a rush. I stayed for 6 days, and housekeeping only came once, on the 4th day. However, they did mention that extra amenities could be requested at reception. A note for warmer days: opening the window doesn’t make the room feel any breezier, so it can be uncomfortable. Luckily, the mornings and nights were chilly, so I managed to sleep well. Location-wise, it’s about an 8-minute walk to Ørestad metro and train station. From there, you can take the metro straight into the city centre, catch a train directly to the airport, or even cross the Øresund Bridge to Malmö and Lund.
