Vasilikia Mountain Farm & Retreat

Im going there very often ! I love the feeling being there ! Every room has totally different design and mood! Staying there makes you feel like you’re out of this world! The staff so kind and polite! The village around there super cute ! I highly recommended!

This is our second time and we have promised to go at least once a year. This is not a stay, it is a wholistic experience. The houses are perfectly curated, with deep knowledge of the North American culture and genuine respect for it's era's lifestyle. I can talk for ever for this resort. Every single detail is fine. The houses are all amazing. There is no right or wrong choice here. The breakfast experience is fab either in villa or in the restaurant. The stay is a time travel to the American North and the feelings deriving are unique. The bonfires by the porch are my favourite highlight. Take a blue tooth speaker, play New Orleans jazz and bring your finest whiskey (I don't drink burbon). Travelling as couples or families, this is a lifetime experience. Maybe one of my happiest places so far. The only thing that requires improving, is that some accommodations funny have a shaded porch and this is a problem of it rains, as sitting by the outdoor fire is a must!

What to say… Everything is so nice and beautiful here. The people, the houses, the farm and the animals. So nice. I wish i could stay for ever. My family enjoys so much inside Vasilikia farm with the animals and the walks inside. The design of the farm is amazing. Congratulations 🎈

We might be oldies [70+], Vasilikia is definitely paradise for younger folks and kids but we had an amazing time. Irini and the team are fantastic, just so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Also they were very careful of maintaining Covid protocol. The weather was pretty cold, lots of snow on our last day, but it was no problem at all. The cabin was warm, the team dug us out of our hut and helped getting the cars safely out etc. The breakfast is excellent, great foodie places nearby, wonderful walks in the pristine forest, so all in all it was a lovely break from city life. The only issue some had was with there being no door to the bathroom and loo!! But that's an oldie thing. Can't wait to see my kids and grandchildren going there. They will love it and we would love to go back too.

When my wife suggested we visit an American farm type lodge, I was convinced that this is gonna be another cheesy replica. When I saw the images in the website, I realised that these guys are the real thing. What can I say? They have true knowledge, every corner in their lodges is expertly curated, the vibe is laid back and within minutes this place travels you years back to the other end of the Atlantic. This is a living museum to the American heritage. It should be awarded by the American Embassy, as I doubt that anything like this even exists in the States. The accommodation is premium and pricing for what this place offers is real value for money. Families spending quality time, couples falling in love and groups of friends enjoying the outdoor fireplaces over the tunes of country music, sipping their bourbon. This is gonna be my retreat for the years to follow. We just checked out and we are already checking dates for our next visit. I recommend this place to anyone bored of the usual, to those experiential travellers that want to add more experiences in their arsenal, to digital nomads and to people just seeking a proper retreat. Definitely one of the most extraordinary places that I have visited. To be objective, yes we did have some mishaps. Our kitchen heating stopped working, the main entrance got stuck and the horse farm workers forgot the stable lights on, resulting to some stressed animals being noisy. The staff has reacted rapidly though and has fixed everything in no time. It's not easy to run a farm with numerous spread out lodges and we acknowledge this. Things do happen in hotels, it's how reactive the staff is when things go wrong and in this case the staff is amazing and can't do more to help. I can write and write and write about our experience in Vasilikia, but I think I will leave it to the rest of you to make your own story. Tip: use the outdoor fire places, bring a bottle of premium whisky (I don't like bourbon), search for the right playlists in Spotify and dive deep in the experience. This place is a canvas, it is not a hotel.

This unique retreat is perched high in the mountains about 2 hrs north of Athens, refreshed by numerous streams and surrounded by evergreens. It is a perfect spot for families with children, and provided us a break from the typical resort/hotel experience. We stayed in the Country House, which was very comfortably furnished with whimsical touches, a fully equipped kitchen, porches overlooking the countryside, and a fireplace. Other cabins on the property looked equally appealing. Breakfast was delicious and abundant, including freshly baked bread, eggs cooked to order and laid by hens who greeted us each morning, fruit, and yogurt with local honey. Our nephew loved exploring the property and visiting with the horses, geese, ducks, rabbits, and other animals, who were obviously well taken care of. Satellite TV and WiFi took care of those of us who wanted to stay connected, but the real benefit was the opportunity to escape for awhile into surroundings close to nature.

Φάρμα με αμερικανικές επιρροές.Μοναδική,ένα με την φύση!Θα ξαναπάμε σίγουρα.Μέναμε στο barn loft!οι μικρές ξετρελάθηκαν !φοβερές παροχές!μήλα και τσίπουρο στο δωμάτιο...εξοπλισμό για φωτιά έξω..υπέροχη,μερακλίδικι διακόσμηση..ξύλινα σπιτάκια..οι γατούλες και τα σκυλάκια αξιολάτρευτα..

Η επίσκεψη μας έγινε Ιούλιο,μια τέλεια περίοδος μιας κ η θερμοκρασία στο βουνό είναι τουλάχιστον δεκαπέντε βαθμούς λιγότερη από ότι στην πρωτεύουσα (τουλάχιστον το βράδυ) κ δεν χρειάζεται air condition αντιθέτως το βράδυ χρειάζεσαι κουβερτουλα! Οι άνθρωποι του αγροκτήματος πολύ φιλόξενοι το πρωινό άριστο κ ο εξωτερικός χώρος περιποιημένος. Πραγματικά θυμίζει μια φάρμα από το εξωτερικό κ σίγουρα θα την ξανά επισκεφθούμε. Αν ήθελα να γράψω κάτι αρνητικό διαβάζοντας βέβαια κ τις προηγούμενες κριτικές στο μόνο που θα συμφωνήσω είναι για το στρώμα του κρεβατιού που όντως θέλει αλλαγή. Περάσαμε υπέροχα θα τα ξανά πούμε!

Καταπληκτικό ξενοδοχείο!ειναι πραγματικα πολύ καλύτερο απ ότι φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες.μια καθαρή,προσεγμένη φάρμα που σε κάνει να νιώθεις ότι βρίσκεσαι σε άλλη εποχή.είναι ιδανικό για παιδιά αλλα εμεις θα το ξανά επισκεφτούμε σιγουρα κ μόνοι μας.το μονο αρνητικό που θα αναφέρω είναι ότι θα ήθελα το μπάνιο να έχει πόρτα για να προσφέρει ιδιωτικότητα.
