Ulasan The Godley Hotel

Room is dated with old furniture. Space is limited and cramp + if u are bringing big luggage, u have space issues to place them in ur room. During our stay, the room heater is not working this we have to call the receptionist to give us a replacement as we cannot survive the cold! However the plus point is that location. We are near the lake tekapo and there are shops nearby. U can even rent bike to explore lake tekapo from one end to another.

Price wise it was very expensive but I guess it was at the price range of the accommodation Tekapo Village. The local was perfect, close to the InterCity bus stop, supermarket and restaurants. A walking distance to the Shepherd Church too. Highly recommend.

The hotel is clean, the service is good, the location is strategic, and the view of the lake from the room is very beautiful.

Its a good hotel with the best view of Lake Tekapo, and it has a restaurant operating till late. A bit old and rustic but rooms are clean. Will consider this hotel again.

Super good location and right in the center of the town. Can view the shepherd church from the balcony. However equipments in bathroom are bit old and water temperature is unstable.

Basic hotel facilities. Bed at the door of the room. Bad air ventilation. Overpriced.

A very comfortable place, close to town centre and the lake. Can do star gazing at the backyard.

The location is good. You can reach the lake and watch the beautiful galaxy from the back door of the room with just 5 minutes walk.

Godley is located close to the lake and restaurants. The accommodation is simple and suffice. We were very comfortable on the cold winter night. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Good view from the room. Comfortable and cozy. It’s really cold outside but the warmer is strong enough.
