We stayed at Hunter Hunter for 2 nights. It is conveniently located - close to Tekapo Village and also close to some walking trails . The unit was clean and had good amenities . The only downside was that if is not terribly sound proof and easy to hear the people in the next unit . Overall we had a good stay and would recommend .

The location is good, about 7 minutes' walk from the center of the town. The room has ample heating equipments, so you can have a warm sleep even in the coldest winter days. However, the sound insulation condition is bad and will interact with the guests on the other side of a thin wooden door. The most difficult thing to understand is the area is less than 40 square meters, but the introduction says 80 square meters. Just one night stay, not bad

The room was very small, with a bed and two suitcases spread out, leaving almost no room to walk. The sun came in at 6am, and the curtains and blinds could not block the light and heat at all. The room was like a greenhouse, so hot. The surrounding environment was good, facing a small pond with a group of ducklings visiting.

The bathroom is very large and it is very comfortable to take a shower. The lake is right outside the door, and there are little ducks asking for food. There is a table at the door where you can eat and drink coffee, which is really very comfortable!

General hotel, not far from the lake, quiet, self-service
