The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, with a large and comfortable bed. Sheets, blankets and pillows made of good materials. The bathroom was large, clean and had everything needed. The staff was nice. I'm not too sure if the price is in relation to the hotel, especially given the location. But in the end it is a good hotel.

The hotel website advertised the Spa as a relaxing experience Price is double of other saunas in the area We were gladly surprised about the cleanliness and the facilities. We were first in the area The first hour was great and we were able to enjoy the dry and steam saunas as well as the jacuzzi After that three women walked in with their kids. From then on was a nightmare. They did not stop shouting, running and jumping in the pool. Their mothers were also very loud. Although it was posted in the changing rooms that lotions and cream were not allowed they used different kinds of creams before entering the saunas. No relaxation at all. They should tell clients upfront that kids are allowed and that the facilities are their playground. Never again.

Nice hotel. Rooms are spacious with a nice bathroom. The shower has good pressure and hot water. The towels are large and thick. We are on the 9th floor. We stayed 2 nights then came back for another 2 nights. Each time the rooms were very noisy from outside. There is a school that had band practice until around 10pm. Firecrackers going off - but no holiday. It's very warm with no air so either be hot or put up with honking cars, a marching band and children screaming outside your window. Good breakfast.

The hotel is in a good, central location. The room was large and quiet. There's a reasonable range of breakfast options. The restaurant also has a good range of options for lunch or dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was generally OK although from time to time it didn't work.

Good location at the bottom of the valley close to the blue cable car line. Good size room with 2 lounge chairs, desk and chair, mini fridge, in room safe and plenty of wardrobe space. Wifi worked ok but the TV only had Spanish channels. The bathroom had decent amenities. Bottled water was provided daily. Breakfast selection was pretty good with eggs cooked to order. The hotel was pretty quiet and there didn’t seem to be a lot of staff on duty but everything was catered for. There’s also a pool, sauna and spa area which we didn’t use. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

Having spent 2 weeks camping and in basic accommodation as part of a tour - I wanted a luxury hotel for one night before flying back to London. I chose Europa as it was central, had a pool and a decent looking bar. However the bar and pool are closed on Mondays and don’t open till the afternoon on Tuesdays. They are spared a one star review by decent eggs for breakfast, big rooms and your taxi can pull in when dropping off away from the LaPaz chaos (unlike many other central La Paz hotels). If I had know the pool and bar thing I would not have booked Europa. Even though they are further out - the luxury Irpawi area hotels look much nicer. With the brilliant cable cars they are only a short hop to the centre.

Decent high-rise mid-range hotel well-located in central La Paz just a couple of blocks from the nearest teleferico. Very helpful front desk staff, and probably the best complimentary breakfast of any hotel I stayed in in Bolivia. Mattress was a little hard, but that's just a matter of personal preference. Nice thing about the location (aside from its centrality) is that at the end of the day/evening you'll almost always find yourself walking downhill to get there.

We arrived at La Paz airport at 3 am local time so it was a great relief to reach the Hotel Europa about an hour after landing and to be immediately allocated a room. We managed to get up for breakfast around 8 which was a substantial buffet, well organised and managed. The hotel is 5 star by local standards, centrally situated just off the main road through the city and indeed the major road to and from the airport. Very convenient and a short walk in one direction takes you to the main square of the city and the Witches Market and in the opposite direction to Sopocachi with many bars and restaurants. The hotel was relatively quiet and, like many businesses, still recovering from the Covid lockdowns and disruption. So the spa and pool service were not operating and nor was one of the restaurants. The main restaurant, the Bistro, lacked character and atmosphere perhaps but was perfectly adequate and inexpensive. Staff at reception were always helpful and it was possible to change money there or access ATM's across the city. We found it difficult to locate good quality restaurants but could recommend the Pasona Hotel and we found a charming backpacker hotel called HowMe/Selina on Ave 20 Octubre. Very satisfying food and very inexpensive. All in all a very convenient and comfortable location. Visitors should definitely take a ride in the cable car system that surrounds La Paz. Thrilling and with great views.

We stayed at the Hotel Europa three times during our stay in Bolivia. It is a very comfortable, well located place to re-group between adventures. The staff is VERY helpful and responsive. Due to middle of the night or very early flight times, we came and went at all hours and the service never varied. The rooms are clean and well appointed. While we didn't use the pool and spa are due to time constraints, it looked clean and well cared for. The location is great for walking around to a number of sights. On the downside, the restaurant is disappointing and overpriced and the rooms (we stayed in three different rooms) were too hot-we had the windows open all night in winter and still melted. I supposed that is better than the opposite! I would definitely return here the next time I am in La Paz.

It needs urgent renovation. It is a 3 star hotel. The hotel is very old. The room is large but the furniture and walls are peeling. The bed has a mattress in very bad condition. They should not be offering themselves as a 5 star hotel. It is very run down. I checked in, saw the room and checked out. The only good thing is the staff, who are very friendly.
