I paid cash a week in advance for the entire stay (4 rooms, 3 at the lodge 1 luxury suite at the Hotel amounting up to just under R40 000.00 for 5 days) I spent over an hour every day at the lodge sorting out their admin and it ended up that they over charged me not once but twice, after paying for breakfast for my guests were denied breakfast the first day. I then had to go back and once again and fight to have this rectified. My guest gets issued a card that expired the same day she got it then they refuse to issue her another one full knowing that she is staying in that room. I was called in every day to come pay for something even though on the first day they received all the POP and it was okayed with the reception desk on the first day !!! My family feels that we were stripped of our holiday because of the constant issues (which in the end my younger brother spent 4 hours resolving) My family and I were absolutely disgusted, and we will never make Sibaya an option for a holiday or even short break again. I am extremely disappointed in MVG for allowing this to take place. My first holiday in 13 years with my family and this is what I had to deal with every day? I don't feel rested and instead I am happy to rather deal with my businesses issues than having to fix the administration of another company. At least I get paid for mine...
