Chalets Chamarel

The views at Chalets Chamarel are breathtaking! Our room was lovely, with one side facing the forest and the other facing the sea. It was peaceful and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The food was okay, but some dishes could have been better seasoned. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want to enjoy nature and unwind.

Lovely place for a vacation. The views are absolutely fabulous and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the waterfall and the 7 color earth. The nature surrounding the chalets is wonderful. The chalet itself was very spacious, clean and beautiful. This place should have a 5 plus score, but unfortunately the wear and tear is starting to show a bit. The pool is nice but the sunbeds don't have parasols, making them hard to use during the hottest hours, and the cushions are old. During our 4 day stay, wifi was down almost 98% - so be prepared not to have Internet except in the reception. Again, we loved our stay there, but the place has much more potential with even some modest refreshing. We did understand there were already plans to start this very soon.

I went there to celebrate my wive’s birthday. The views were just breathtaking. It’s the best place to relax and cut off from daily routine. The staffs were very polite and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and well decorated. The food was delicious. Will definitely go back there next year.

Although I rated this experience 5, it was not all impeccable. The biggest disappointment was the pool, too shallow, too small, and in a pretty strange location: in front of the restaurant. Food also could have been better... All the rest was one of the most beautiful experiences of all of my travels. There is no need to repeat all that was already said - I’ll just add what I wrote in my title: this stunning property with gorgeous views has a kind of magic power... It hit my soul, I could feel the very essence of myself transforming… Whether I enjoyed the sea or the wood view, the effect was the same: peace and quiet moved into me. The soundtrack was impeccable too: nothing but the birds... And silence... I definitely recommend this property for all people in search of paradise on Earth, and I’ll be back to Chalets Chamarel as soon as possible. I do thank all the amazing staff, Mrs. Dalida in particular.

Came here as part of a honeymoon trip and stayed for 5 days. Ideally I think probably 4 days is as much as you want in order to explore the full area. Staff are so accommodating. The food is fantastic every evening and they even offer tea and coffee and cake between 4:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon which is included. Drinks also so incredibly reasonable, mini bar in room and water replaced daily and the staff cannot do to make you feel like you're on holiday and to relax. I would like to thank everybody from security, cleaning, reception and all staff behind the bar and restaurant area for such a fantastic stay. Moving on to the accommodation. It is in the most beautiful spots you could imagine. The chalet itself has everything that you could possibly need and the 360 views are absolutely idyllic. Please ignore any reviews regarding roads being dodgy they are not. What do you expect when trying to get to such a remote location? It's just a bit of the beaten track but we drove to and down it daily. This really is an absolute unique gem. And the flowers, special touches on our honeymoon will remain forever. Tourism tips: Coloured sands luckily we got in for free. Not worth paying or visiting. Ebony forest do visit - lovely reprieve of a cafe with beautiful views half way round The chalet Chameral has a vast menu but also offer lunch Bring deet although you can eat inside but why would you want to?

A lovely accommodation that is unique with this absolutely breathtaking view! We have spent our 2 last nights in Mauritius there and was great decision to end our first visit to Mauritius in this lovely place. Chalet was really spacious and modern, clean and with all needed amenities. The only thing we observed was the aging of the chalet - some small updates here and there are needed (could be just the case with our chalet). When it comes to food, it was amazingly tasty! Felt like home cooked with a special touch of chef - everything we’ve tried was fresh, balanced and you wanted more Staff went above and beyond and prepared us such a beautiful surprise on the second night decorating a table for our wedding anniversary everyone truly humble and polite Warm recommendations to stay and experience this lovely place
