Tropical Suites & Villas

We spent two nights in suite B4. Very nice, comfortable 4 post bed, walk in shower, kitchen with coffee pot, small refrigerator and microwave. Closet-wardrobe, jacuzzi, sliding glass doors to outside patio with a view of the Volcano. Everything functioned and was clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and called cabs for us. We walked back from the main street with shops and restaurants and it was only 1.3 miles, although uphill. But we are in our early 70's and had no difficulty. The cab was $8 (US dollars) to take us just a couple miles one way, however. Breakfast was provided on site for $7 cash. A choice of French toast, tice/beans with eggs and toast or an omlet with toast, all served with a fresh fruit plate and available coffee included. The best part was being seated under a large shelter watching the multitude of amazing birds feeding and drinking from a large bird bath in front of you, with the Volcano and gorgeous blooming trees and plants, in sight. A parrot named Matilda also visited but stayed aloof from the other birds. There is also a 30 minute trail on the premises, but we did not discover it until time to leave.

Las almohadas eran muy incómodas, una parecía una piedra, tuvimos que usar un cojín. Aparte había varias cucarachas dentro de la habitación estando la misma continuamente cerrada. Calidad-precio mal, lo único que se salva es el restaurante, que está regentado por una familia muy atenta y agradable.
