Nayara Tented Camp

Our family of 5 stayed in a family tent in November. It was spectacular. The property is stunningly gorgeous. The pools and hot springs kept my kids entertained for days. The playground was awesome. We all loved the night frog tour. Breakfast and all food at the resort was exceptional. On top of all that the service was the best we have ever had. To date it’s our kids favorite place!

We happened to watch The Reluctant Traveler on Apple+ and watched the episode on Costa Rica. The Navarra Tented Camp was featured and we immediately knew we wanted to visit. What an amazing experience. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about the wildlife. The excursions were amazing and very well organized. This is definitely a must do! Costa Rica is a very welcoming country and we found that native Costa Ricans were excited to share their beautiful country with us. I have only positive things to say about this amazing place - we just loved it!

We are so happy we chose to stay at Nayara Tented Camp! Absolutely stunning rainforest location, with the finest amenities. What really stands out is the staff that anticipated our every need. They provided such highly customized service, learning each family members preferences. Noticing what we liked to drink and snack on and restocking the minibar with extras. Noticing we had brought some food with us and an additional mini fridge and microwave were offered. Adjusting the temperature of the pool for our 5 year old. I never experienced such attentive, thoughtful and generous service. We enjoyed the Termas hot spring pools every night in the lush forest surroundings. The morning yoga was also a wonderful experience. Nayara, thank you for helping us make beautiful family memories that will last a lifetime

Easily the most magnificent resort I have ever visited. Incredibly beautiful accommodations, surroundings and facilities. Our tented room was a private oasis with every luxury imaginable. The staff are highly trained to be exceptionally attentive and eager to please the guests. Without exception, everyone we encountered was always very happy and helpful. Pure luxury with a twist of fun!

Nayara tented camp is a spectacular resort. The staff were so sweet and very accommodating. Our greeter, Rachel was absolutely charming and set the tone for an truly wonderful stay. The accommodations were breathtaking. We had mixology class with Jose and Josue. Their depth of knowledge was amazing and Jose made the event so much fun. Too many great things to mention. Thank you to all your staff for a memorable visit. We cannot wait to return.

We had the best week! The property is unique and stunning, my one-word takeaway from this trip is magical! This resort is absolutely on par or better than the Ritz Carlton when it comes to service. We have been blown away by the kindness and above-and-beyond service. A few notable moments: Jose at Henry’s Bar was our first friend. We will miss the nightly martinis and conversation. You should absolutely sign up for the mixology class! Melanie in reception remembered us from day one and always made sure we had what we needed. Raquel and Daniel in the Asia Luna restaurant (our favorite!). All of the restaurants took great care in making sure I had gluten free options. At Asia Luna it felt like they welcomed this challenge. I rarely get to enjoy such delicious Asian dishes-including sushi. If you have celiac, don’t worry. They made it so easy. Alonso our guide and Ronnie our driver for an all day hike to the mystic hanging bridges snd Fortuna Waterfall were so great at making sure we saw so many plants and animals synonymous with Costa Rica. We learned so much, got truly fantastic photos, and made two new friends! The resort staff found out that my husband and I are about to be grandparents for the first time - to twins no less. In our room was the sweetest note and gift of to ‘twin’ sloths. Did I get a little teary? Yes. It was truly unexpected but demonstrates so perfectly how this resort listens to their guests, cares, and works to make every experience memorable. You won’t be disappointed here. It rains a lot because it is a rainforest. Embrace it. You’ll be sleeping in the clouds, falling asleep to gentle rains, and enjoying a sunny day by the pool. Don’t miss the hot springs. Pool hop and bar hop through the resort. The spa is amazing. Go. Book it.
