Alma Arenal Garden

Absolutely loved this place and it seems like the reviews could use some updating. There is a restaurant on site that has a limited menu (but made with love, they said lol). We didn’t try dinner (they have room service), but breakfast was fast and tasty with generous portions. Very clean. Super nice staff who were very accommodating and always offering to do us favors. Rooms have free wifi and all the basic amenities. Loved the bungalow: huge with high ceilings and massive windows that give you a beautiful view of the volcano. I think the natural wood controlled the humidity. There is an air conditioner mounted high on the wall that kept the room very comfortable without blasting air on you. The location is 20 min from Mistico and it was very easy to get an Uber to take you into the touristy chaos of La Fortuna. You have access to the Lodge pool next door. There are 3 restaurants and a mini mart within easy walking distance. There is a short steep hill to get to the bungalows, but you can park right next to yours. The only caution
