Staff lovely - very attentive. Food good but buffet always cold. Plenty new towels daily in room. Super location for touring/viewing the area. Pool area cleaned daily.

Great staff, breakfast had so much choice and fantastic value.

Needs a refurb but for the price it’s good, excellent location

The best part of hotel is the Location. The hotel is DEFINITELY not a 4star . Maybe 2/3star . The rooms are dated and the bathroom needs completely ripping out. The towels are very small and threadbare. Beds are ok to be fair pillows very comfortable. The corridors in the hotel are a trip hazard, carpets are extremely worn and sticking up. Facilities are ok but booking for all inclusive should mean that … you have to pay for a safe key and to visit the Roof Top bar and certain drinks… Hotel in my opinion is expensive compared to other hotels we’ve visited. We found the Staff very pleasant overall . The food was always cold and very poor . Omlette station had no choice of fillings just Plain lol. Fried eggs left on side for too long so again cold. WILL NOT BE RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL

The hotel is more like a 2 star. Corridors filthy,carpet worn out and cut up. Rooms average. Shower mould on ceiling and about to fall through. Towels like sand paper. Restaurant area extremely depressing and no atmosphere. Pool beds worn out and collapsing. Would not stay again.

The best part of this hotel is its location: at the beach and a short walk to the town center with all its restaurants. The rooms look old and tired and could benefit from an update. The walls were dirty and the floor was sagging. The towels are small and threadbare and one of ours even had a hole. The sheet on the bed was so small that it kept getting undone, showing all the holes in the mattress protector. As in many hotels in this area, only a kettle and tea bags, no coffee in the room. The partial sea view we booked could only be seen when looking around the enclosure of the terrace. Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Would not come back and cannot recommend.

We had a very unpleasant experience here , we had our room riffled through and had our euros taken and some English cash too. The night we arrived we had a pre booked meal arranged in the town for our friends 50th birthday. So was a little pushed for time We intended to purchase the safe the following morning . On realizing the money had gone we went to reception to report it , we found the staff extremely unhelpful, attitude was aragaunt , we asked them to check the Camara which was pointing down our corridor as our room was locked, their response was it's a police matter they can not access the footage which I find hard to believe. They told us to go and report it to the police but the main station we were told to go to is in fuengirola so a taxi ride away . I felt unwelcome at this hotel and staff unfriendly . I for one will not stay here again .

I stayed at this hotel from the 13th till the 18th of August’24 - all inclusive, and in general the hotel seemed great, it was clean, the food was mostly quite good and versatile, there was daily entertainment and location was good but all of that was ruined by how awfully rude and unhelpful 90% of the staff was. I’ve never seen more careless reception staff trying to get rid of you by giving you one word answers or plainly just rolling their eyes and saying “I don’t know”, at the bar they would constantly question visitors from the uk if were getting drinks for none inclusive people, they would under pour our drinks, in general they would be very unpleasant, when you asked a staff member to repeat what they said because you didn’t hear them too well over the music or miss hearing the accent they would get really defensive and raise their voices in an angry manner. The staff at Vik Gran clearly don’t care about how their attitude impacts a persons stay and through all we were still very nice to them so it didn’t ruin our stay anymore- if not for the staff this would be a perfect hotel but since we were made to feel like we were not welcome we will definitely not be back.

Really lovely 4 day all inclusive break. Very clean and welcoming hotel. Rooms are great. The food was surprisingly good. Fresh salads, lovely choices, a cooking station that offers breakfast items and various fresh fish and meat dishes. There is also a choice of mid morning snacks and afternoon tea. You don’t need to go very long between meals if you have a big appetite! The location is fabulous! Right on the beach and a short walk along the boardwalk to the lively and lovely town of La Cala which has lots of bars, restaurants and the bustling town square. You can easily walk to Olivia’s if that’s your vibe. The animation/entertainment team at the hotel are fabulous and so much fun. You can join in or watch as much as you like. Karaoke, aqua aerobics, live music, magic shows, cocktail making. Lots of fun. This is a 4 star hotel despite what others say. Also I found no problem with the towels provided either for the room or the pool/beach. The pool is shallow so not really for swimming but perfect for young ones. Plus the sea is on your doorstep if you require more than a dip to cool off. There is the hilarious morning towel olympics at 9am every morning to reserve a sunbed of choice. Not really necessary as there are plenty of beds if you stroll down before lunchtime. But I understand that some people have preferences for where they lay for the day. If you don’t like this then perhaps an Airbnb would be more suitable for you. The wine and beer on the all inclusive option are lovely, my only real gripe are the all inclusive cocktails and spirits. Absolutely vile and akin to petrol 🤣 You do have the choice to drink premium brands at 50% off (25% off at the cool chill out terrace bar) with Spanish measures you will not be disappointed or need to order doubles 🤪 Overall a great short break.
