La Ferme de l'Oudon & Spa

Visited here en couple in mid-June. What an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived we were impressed. The grounds are impeccably kept. We stayed in the swimming pool suite. The pool was all ours from evening until morning. This was such a fantastic amenity. Every room has their own little bonus. Careful though, if you don't look the pool door you might have visitors from the other rooms enjoying it during your time. The suite was lovely. The living room and kitchen area nicely maintained. The upstairs bathroom had a lovely shower and tub. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the toilet as the WC smelled like urine. We ordered dinner to be delivered the first evening and it was wonderful. Would have loved if they had given a bit more bread. The food was delicious and full of flavor. Breakfast was also delicious. Plenty of pastries and bread in the morning. Wifi was an issue. It didn't work the whole second day we were there. Every room was booked so perhaps there were too many connections to the system. La ferme insists that they are not a full service hotel---more of a destination with apartments. So this means no bar and no restaurant service. It would be nice if they had a little grocery section with food and beverages to purchase as the city doesn't offer much. When you come here, you're here to be here. The farm animals are so lovely. Waking up to the rooster crowing is so nice. And we encountered 3 cats with very different personalities. One who was our guide, one who came curiously whenever we got out the tablecloth, and another who observed. We loved all of the animals that we encountered. We even saw an adorable family of beavers near the stream. Will we come back? Hopefully very soon!

Très bon accueil ! Le site est charmant et bucolique. La chambre « LOGGIA » était propre et bien équipée (mini frigo, micro-onde, bouilloire, Nespresso, vaisselles, peignoirs, claquettes pour la piscine etc). La literie était très confortable et la baignoire balnéo au top ! Le petit déjeuner était très bien et diversifié. Petit point négatif, la piscine était sympa mais un peu froide… Le sauna n’était pas terrible (il est petit et la porte ne ferme pas correctement). De plus, nous n’avions l’accès qu’à partir de 19h car des soins étaient pratiqués juste à côté et le sauna est bruyant… Je n’appelle absolument pas ça un SPA mais une piscine avec un « sauna » s’il est accessible...
