Hotel El Molí

Very nice, professional and friendly staff at the hotel as well as at the restaurant! We stayed in the old part of the hotel and it felt like a trip back in history. Very nice old furniture, great beds (our 4 year old daughter felt like a princess in her bed). A great mix between old and new!!!!! We had a very nice dinner at the hotels restaurant and it was delicious!!!! And the prices are very acceptable. A nice terrace!!! A great garden and swimming pool and the river running behind the hotel gives it an extra touch. We had a look into the modern rooms and spoke with nice Belgian guests who come in this hotel for more than 20 years and they are full of the nice modern rooms. Very nice breakfast at the terrace! A great experience and we will come back for sure!!!!!

We have just stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The location is very special and the architecture of the new extension is just fabulous. The rooms are very luxurious in the new wing and have a serene outlook. Unfortunately our bed was very soft ,twin beds ,we are not sure if the others beds are like this but I think it’s worth mentioning. The restaurant is very good ,offering local produce ,good size portions and excellent wines. Breakfast could be improved,more fresh fruit and variety. It was a pity there were children’s carnival rides near the outside dining area as I feel they spoil the beautiful atmosphere. The staff who are part of the family / owners were really good,so helpful with any needs. We really enjoyed our stay ,we highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed in one of the new rooms and would think that these would suit most travellers. The room was not basic, but not overly luxurious but just right. Extremely spacious for the 3 of us. The grounds, the restaurant the service, the breakfast was all excellent and couldn't be faulted. The restaurant is not fine-dining but great hearty food in a wonderfully family/med-style setting.

We loved the mix of architecture and location. Our room was in the old building and was charming. Saw those in the new building and they are very smart and spacious. Lovely swimming pool. Delicious food in the restaurant. Best wild mushrooms I've ever eaten.

Invited here for dinner by very close Catalan friends, as it was acceptably near their home. Hotel and restaurant situated in a very picturesque location beside the river. Modern hotel with spa pool etc clearly more recently constructed, adjoining a charming old building which houses the restaurant. Very good food that was beautifully presented. Not the cheapest of locations, but the quality as certainly there. Clearly very popular as the restaurant was packed. Recommend booking.

We stayed at this hotel for one night in February this year, when we were on the long drive from the south of Spain to U.K.. we thought then that it might be ‘our sort of place’. Now we have just stayed here for 3 nights in May and we know it is ‘our sort of place’! Where do I start? A lovely big bedroom with loads of storage, an extremely comfortable bed, a brilliant bathroom with space and a huge shower ( as well as a sunken bath) . There is a very convenient desk/dressing table with great lighting for make up, plug sockets just where you need them and best of all a large terrace for sun and shade. Parking is right outside and the hotel has its own good restaurant. But more than all of that, the family who run this hotel and restaurant and all of the staff who work with them are the most polite and generous people you could meet. We made a couple of special requests in the hotel and all of them were delivered with a ‘no problem’ and a smile. We are a couple in our 70’s who like the peace and quiet but this place is also very suitable for families with lovely facilities for young children. I would love to be able to bring the children in our family here and truly this hotel delivers on both the peace and tranquillity side as well as being family friendly.
