Nurel Shark Residence

Disappointing. Whilst the staff are friendly and the accommodation is clean the place is let down with silly but important issues. We booked a Deluxe Studio with a balcony. How they have the cheek to call an area of 15” deep a balcony I don’t know. The only livings things which benefitted from this is the cooing pigeons who were pooping everywhere. For us a balcony means somewhere to sit out and have a tea/ coffee - no chance! Thought we’d give the Restaurant a go this evening. Again the Waiter was polite and helpful. We chose 3 different dips as starters; 2 were not available so we chose alternatives. All were tasty and well presented. Then we asked for the wine menu prior to selecting our main course - no white or rose available. We were, however, offered the only white wine they had - a mediocre bottle of Sauvignon for €50! Needless to say we didn’t stay for our meal, choosing to move on to a restaurant which could serve what was advertised in their menu. As I said issues which shouldn’t arise. The tourist season is underway and whilst you are going to find that certain things aren’t available, a restaurant should not run out of both white and rose. Don’t advertise what is clearly not available.

Very good Turkish food, lovingly served by a nice staff. Beautiful décor. Great views! Highly recommended! Good value for money. Also the rooms in this hotel are very clean, spacious with very good beds. Here, too, the price-performance ratio is very good. All in all, very appealing. Good location.

The first bad impression of this place is the entrance! The street is on the way up and the there’s not even the entrance for the wheelchair! We booked for two nights but because of the ferry we couldn’t reach the property on time, I tried to extend the reservation but nobody answer me through booking and it was not even possible to do it. I booked again a new reservation for one night, when we arrived the receptionist and everyone shown a fake smile. Upon our leaving they call the taxi saying it would have been arrived within 5 minutes, but we have been waiting for 30 minutes ridiculous! We understood a bit of Turkish and people in the reception talked also bad about us.. the restaurant, we asked for still water and they answered we don’t have it! The orange juice came after 20 minutes! we ordered two cheese burgers (they were not burgers,only tomatoes cheese and lettuce) arrived after 30 minutes with empty restaurant!No one is available to comunicate in English in the restaurant in 2024 is embarrassing something like that! For dinner we order Parmesan mashrooms and beef with potatoes and broccoli, the mashrooms was tasted off… and the beef and potatoes too saulty Breakfast also very poor! And not available to do even room service! The room missing the iron and dryer, also is very hot. Only one lift in the building with a lot of rooms, the pool closes at 10pm but at 7:30pm is already dark and the lights still off, there is not a phone to call the reception if you need help, there is no steps for exit emergency. 0 stars never again!

Very bad experience, first of all we arrived and our room was not available and they told us it will be available after 3 days from the arrival date, they gave us 2 smaller rooms instead which we were fine with, full amount was paid in advance and as a compensation the manager promised us a late checkout, during the stay my friend had to book an extra room for a guest and payment was supposed to be on our last day, the receptionist knocked on our door the day of checkout and asked to leave, we reminded her about the promise of her manager and the action she took was such a shock, she called the police claiming that we are refusing to pay the one extra dat we booked even though she knows payment was on our checkout day and they came knocking on our door asking for passports and making drama. I wouldn’t recommend dealing or staying with them because of their services and fake promises

Bed and pillow are not good Others are fine

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel most welcome. Tuncay the manager bent over backwards to make our stay a very welcoming experience. The facilities while not completely finished were of a very high standard. The rooms and suites are tastefuly done and very comfortable. We went as a motorcycle club and we were warmley greeted, nothing was to mush trouble for the staff. We will be visiting again.
