I can not fly to Japan on schedule because of the reason I can not control (my Japan Visa not issued yet ) I sent email with the document to prove it, I called the hotel to explain my condition & also the Trip.com , but Double Tree by Hilton Kyoto can not accept my free cancellation while with the same case, the other hotel in Osaka that I should stay 2 days before , accepted my free cancellation request and refunded my full payment Very bad service with no emphaty at all From 3 nights I pay, finally I only stayed 1 night after my Japan visa issued Room is relative small compare to the price we pay, Lobby is also too small and crowded It's hard to bring your luggage to entrance with stairs and no one will help you in the front door After checked in late night, front desk didn't ask if you need help to bring you luggage to the room This is not what I expect in the 4 stars hotel at the nicest city Kyoto Will not come back to this hotel anymore

Hotel overall good, I like the design. The counter staff, Ms Ly is very helpful, breakfast variety can be improve.

Significantly over-rated and over-priced. It is ironic that you stay in an International-chain hotel (under the Hilton Group) in Japan, you receive the US fast-food-style services, with standards a far cry from other leading Japanese local hospitality groups. We were allocated to a lower level room on Floor 2, literally in parallel to the pedestrian outside the window. So be prepared there will be no privacy if you don’t draw the curtain. Not to mention noises of traffic. I start to wonder why every time I book from Ctrip.com, I am always assigned to a lower-floor room wherever in Japan. Is it prejudice towards Chinese tourists? Or is C-Ctrip considered a 无良商家 that has been essentially blacklisted by Japanese hotels?

The hotel location is super convenient and very easily to get to anywhere. You can find 7-eleven etc supermarkets so easily.I will stay again this hotel next time.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Room was relatively clean with new towels provided daily. Staff were very friendly. The welcome cookie was delicious :) The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area and but is very near to Gojo Station, which allows you to get to the city centre quickly. Would definitely come back again!

Good start with my first day trip in Kyoto , public parking near by, room was bigger than I expected, well organised room 

Large hotel with a comfortable lobby. Be sure to go to the onsen because it is cozy and almost empty.

A brand new hotel at a decent price, the room is spacious and the bed is comfortable, it was a pleasant stay

Easily accessible by bus and train. Good breakfast and provide sparking water. Nice walk along the river and Kiyomizudera.

Good location, clean room, beautiful space. Helper & friendly staffs. Fluent in English. Great service. Wonderful hotel!!! We love the beautiful Japanese style design room, less is more. 🍪 Lovely welcome cookies 🍪 Room Service is Perfect👍🏻reasonable price 👏🏼 I really enjoy the meal. The onsen facilities are outstanding👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Kyoto. We would stay here again.

Located in a slightly quieter area, but three major convenience stores were across the road. The staffs were nice and helpful and we love the room design.
