There’s also a beautiful, expansive park nearby, perfect for a morning run or evening stroll. The hotel itself is spotless, with top-notch cleanliness throughout. Service is excellent—the staff is warm and helpful, and they offer a super convenient airporter service to send your luggage to the airport or another hotel directly. While the hotel doesn’t have a gym (a bit of a downside for fitness-focused travelers), the rest of the facilities are solid. Breakfast isn’t extravagant like some larger hotels, but it’s more than sufficient to start your day off right. Overall, a great stay for travelers who value location, cleanliness, and service.

This made it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably, as the glow was intrusive and clearly not designed with guest rest in mind. 2. **Rude and Unwelcoming Check-Out Experience** At check-out, the reception staff displayed a complete lack of hospitality. When politely requesting drinking water, they **refused in an impolite and dismissive manner**, making it clear that guests are no longer valued once their stay is over. 3. **Unprofessional Check-In Process** Upon arrival, the reception staff failed to charge the correct tax amount during check-in. Instead of resolving this internally, they inconvenienced us by asking us to return to the front desk to settle the payment—a clear lack of attention to detail and guest consideration. **Final Verdict:** This hotel fails to deliver on basic service standards, let alone the luxury expected of a 4-star property. From poor room design to unprofessional staff behavior and administrative errors, my experience was highly unsatisfactory. A very nice and comfortable hotel. It is located very close to the train station and there is a Family Mart connected to the hotel. There is also a kids playground very nearby to the hotel which my kids love it so much.

The hotel was clean and convenient as it is close to the subway station. The staff were friendly during check-in and check-out. They have provided a kid amenity for our son. Will recommend!

The experience at this hotel is amazing. Excellent customer service. The room is spacious and clean. Location is strategic, just 1 station away from Kyoto station. This is really good for us as we travel direct from Kansai Airport. Overall, very good experience and certainly will pick this hotel for my next visit.

Hotel located just beside a pretty park and a JR train station. Room size is just fine and very comfortable. Really like this hotel and will comeback definitely 👍

Very clean very big and suitable for family. It is one stop away him kyoto station. There is a ice skating facility and public bath in the hotel. We used the bath everyday. Near to the famous noodle.

Hotel was excellent. Clean and nice.. beside subway. Only things is need to travel down to Kyoto train station to go other parts of kyoto… the hotel is so good that my kids want me extend one more night

It's a good place for a family with kids. We are here in December, and my boy likes ice skating so much. It is just below the hotel.
