Ulasan Ben's Guesthouse Kyoto

We have a great experience to stay in Ben’s guesthouse. The owner did his best to accommodate my request. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and it comes with a mini kitchen and washer. Overall, we are satisfy with the booking.

Stated got parking but in the end it was a paid parking. And then when check in still need pay extra 2400 yen? I have been to many airbnb usually just need pay deposit and will return later but this ben's guesthouse need us to pay and no return. In addition, our room is in the fourth floor with to lift. We need to carry 6 of our big luggage up. Very dissapointing

This hotel is in the market street, there's supermarket and convenience stores nearby. Walking distance to bus stops. Room is very clean. The host, Ben, is a very nice person.

I feel that it is far away from the lively fortress, and the subway is really far away. If you like taking the subway like us, I don’t recommend it. But fortunately, there are buses available, about 3-5 minutes walk, and taxis are also convenient. , so it’s not bad. The merchants on the shopping street are very kind. Although it is on Kitano Shopping Street, I am really only interested in supermarkets, small grocery stores, and convenience stores. The nearby famous attractions include Kinkakuji Temple and Kitano. Tenmangu Shrine and Nijo Castle are both very close and convenient, but Nijo Castle is quite a distance away. Those with children can go to "Kyoto Aquarium", "Railway Museum", and "Umekoji Park". It's very convenient to take the bus. It can be done in one go.

The rooms in Kyoto are unexpectedly better than the price. It's a grace house with someone taking care of it. But if check-in is later than 3 p.m., you have to take the key yourself. OK, we were lucky to stay on the ground floor, no need to walk up. The room is big, the equipment in the room is complete. There are bicycles for rent to ride around the city. The rooms are clean and have a washing machine. Around the accommodation there are restaurants, a supermarket, and a market, not far from tourist attractions. Suitable for families who want to relax.
