I’m a bit worried that the service levels at White Sand have ruined all other hotels for me! We enjoyed a wonderful stay with family (teenage kids) for over a week in July. The property is exquisite, beach stunning and weather perfect. Especially big thanks to Emmanuel our butler during the stay and Khamis who looked after us at dinner every night. I recommend taking the bike tour of a nearby village offered by the hotel, super interesting. And walking up the beach to get out of the resort and try local lunch spots. My only constructive criticism is around allergy labelling on the menus, it would have been useful to see more easily which foods contain nuts. Big thanks to the whole team, The Perry family

If you’re looking for a luxurious, more adult-oriented getaway in a quiet location, this resort is an excellent choice. The beach was beautiful and well-maintained, with security ensuring beach vendors only approached guests who were interested in interacting. Our room was spacious, spotless, and featured an amazing outdoor shower with plenty of privacy—it was definitely my favorite feature! The hotel’s food and service were both exceptional. I also loved the lush tropical landscaping throughout the property, which added to the serene atmosphere. The occasional visit from curious monkeys made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend!

The hotel is simply perfection. From the paradisiac location, to the lush surroundings and luxurious rooms. We were pampered and spoiled by the kindest staff. But the best was the delicious food!! We can still taste the freshest mango juice from each morning, to the decadent dinners at the main restaurant. Really everything was a dream, will be back soon!!

Our stay with White Sands was incredible the only complaint I have is that it needed to be longer!! This place is incredible - your stay right from check in to check out is so carefree, relaxing and luxurious. The villa's are spacious and private, it was hard to decide which place to start relaxing in first! Rooms are well appointed and even the products provided are clearly high end and smell amazing. The private access to the beach and our own beach beds/umbrella was very peaceful and nice. Our butler Rhamadan was so sweet and helpful, all the staff were ready to assist and just wanted to ensure you had a great and relaxing time. It is well worth the money for a relaxing and luxurious holiday in Zanzibar.

Wonderful and beautiful place, the staff is truly amazing, we greatly enjoyed our time here after many days on Safari, very refreshing and renewing, would highly recommend. We stayed in a Villa, they have thought of everything from the decorations to the outdoor shower, to the personal pool, very private, amazing views.

Exceptional start to finish Above and beyond. Bespoke feel, individualised finishing touches which really make the difference. A unique culinary experience and an incredible standard. Stayed with my husband and two children aged 5. Enjoyed cycling tours, wind kiting, lazy days, snorkelling and free swimming with dolphins in the wild! Magical! All staff brilliant, engaging and inviting. Very high standard not experienced for a while anywhere else globally. This really was a delight.

What a great way to finish a thrilling two-week fly-safari across the mainland Tanzania, having witnessed the most amazing wildlife, and then arrive and stay and be pampered in our own little paradise. The private villa right on the beach front was spectacular, and we felt cared for and looked after right from the start, and the friendly, informal time with our butler, Emannuel, was exactly at the right level and much appreciated. Nothing was too much for him, and we were also grateful for the late checkout and having the villa all the way until the evening on the day of departure. This is a wonderful place, with wonderful food, super friendly and informal staffing, and because it was not too busy at all with other guests, we really felt like this was a private hideaway and a much deserved relaxation after the two weeks of very intense safari.
