This place was absolutely amazing, the host was the best we’ve come across, from meeting us and carrying all our bags, to finding us in the rain whilst we were shopping to offer umbrellas due to the downpour . The room was immaculate, we were able to store our drinks etc in the large commercial fridge, and yes it was cold!! Bottled water was free anytime. The location is brilliant , you can walk around the town and drop back and use the home stay facilities anytime, this was so nice as the facilities were so clean. Our room was spacious overlooking the canals, so even if you felt like a break, a drink and nibbles in your room whilst watching the events below was relaxing. The restaurant next door was the nicest we’d come across. I would recommend 2 nights stay, and definitely don’t look any further trying to find a better spot , book here. The Host spoke English and was easy to contact by email or mobile and WeChat. This is a family home stay business and it was evident during our stay. I’d give this place 10 stars

A family of three people booked a family room, which was more comfortable upstairs and downstairs. There is a separate enclosed bathroom, unlike some places that are not enclosed and have no privacy. The room is bright and clean, and it is obviously a relatively new inn. It is located in the core scenic area, and is very convenient to Zhangting, Chenting and Shuangqiao. The butler drove over to pick us up, helped recommend good restaurants, and responded to requests promptly. Because we were worried that it would be extremely cold these days, the housekeeper turned on the air conditioner in advance after communication. It was already very warm when we entered the house - there was no problem with the air conditioner causing heating, it was much better than we imagined!

My stay at Guyunfeng Hotel was a peaceful and memorable experience, made even better by the owners, who were truly amazing. They were warm, friendly, and went out of their way to help me feel comfortable. From the moment I arrived, their kindness stood out, it’s clear they genuinely care about their guests Although I didn’t receive tea along with the snacks that some other reviews mentioned, I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the snacks I did get. Small touches like this made my stay feel personal and welcoming What I loved most about my time here was simply staying in my room and people-watching from the window. The view was a quiet kind of magic like watching daily life unfold in Zhouzhuang’s water town felt like stepping into another world. The town moves at its own pace, different from anything I’m used to, and it reminded me how refreshing it can be to slow down and truly observe If you’re looking for a place with a cozy atmosphere, wonderful hosts, and the chance to soak in the charm of Zhouzhuang, Guyunfeng Hotel is a great choice. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a small retreat where you can reconnect with the beauty of simple moments P.S. you will have to pay a ticket for 100RMB and good for 3 days. If you stay more than 3 days, you will have to pay ticket for every 3 days or so. You can buy a ticket from vending machines and have your face scanned at the security checkpoints, or buy it manually, take picture on ticket with date then show it to security guards.

It was a really great experience staying here. I loved it. The room was really clean and the facilities were all new. The owner was also very nice. He was afraid that we couldn't find it, so he personally went to the entrance to pick us up and helped carry our suitcases. We stayed in a room with a small courtyard on the first floor. The courtyard was very carefully decorated and very beautiful. The B&B is not far from the river, so it is very convenient to go out and play. It is not on the street and there is no noise. If I come here again, I will definitely book this B&B again.

Well, what a wonderful homestay. The location is perfect being next to the famous twin bridges. There is no shortage of things to buy and see . The homestay itself is beautiful with a perfect mix of ancient architecture on the outside whilst being tastefully modern and contemporary on the inside. Every area is immaculately clean and the host /owner is wonderfully warm and friendly. No question is too much and she always recommended the best things to see and do. I will absolutly stay here many more times and I would recommend anyone who is visiting this magical town , to stay at this homestay. It was perfect 🥰 the homestay also has a resturant of the same name. And the food is amazing and authentic to the area. Some of the most delicious food I've eaten in China

Very satisfied, the store service is very good, the boss lady is very kind, the location is very good, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, very clean. I stayed in a balcony room on the second floor, with a small bridge, flowing water and willow trees downstairs. I was very satisfied with this trip to Zhouzhuang. Zhouzhuang is beautiful and the people are beautiful!

This hotel is really the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my trip from Nanjing to Suzhou and then to Zhuang Zhou. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. She picked us up and sent us to the room. The hotel is 20 meters away from the entrance, which is super convenient and not as noisy as the scenic spot. The room is very beautiful and the decoration is very delicate. You can see that it is very attentive. The children especially like it. Highly recommended

This homestay is by the river. The owner called me the day before, but I didn't answer. When I arrived that day, I called her and she drove a three-wheeled vehicle to pick me up. It was quite a unique experience. This room is on the first floor, and it's quite comfortable to see the river, but because you can see clearly inside from the outside, there are often tourists or three-wheeled vehicles passing by. I may be shy and can't sit there and drink tea with the curtains open, so I still draw the curtains most of the time. Because there was construction going on nearby, I could frequently hear the rumbling sound of three-wheeled vehicles passing by when I arrived on the first day. It is quite quiet at night. It is very close to Shuangqiao and is located in the center of the ancient town. The geographical location is quite recommended.

i guess this hotel is ok if you're only in your room from late night to early morning. the room was comfortable and I was there quite a lot, hoping to rest - but there was constant shouting and slamming of doors, and zero soundproofing, it was really noisy. I understand the owners live there, but if they also sell this as a hotel, they should consider their guests a bit more. i was also given the wrong information about transport to Shanghai. i hope they improve their service, because i can see they put some effort in keeping the rooms nice

The surroundings are very quiet and the environment is good. It is located in the alley of Zhouzhuang Ancient Town. It takes only 1 minute to get to Xinglong Bridge. It is very fast to go anywhere. There is a small store at the door, which is also very convenient for shopping. Highly recommended.
