2-Star Hotels in Kundasang

Stayed here for a night. The location is a little off because you cannot see Mt. Kinabalu anywhere, but you would find yourself surrounded by pine trees, which is also a point to add. You could hear the winds at night, a little scary but also serene at the same time. I would not be bothered by anything else except for the network. It was so slow during my stay, eventhough they provided the wifi. What is the point connecting to the wifi if you cannot use it anyway? Our phone network also did not work there, unfortunately. It’s a big concern because people would want to text, call their families and friends besides updating their social medias and making research for attractions etc. If the management team could figure this out and work for a better improvement on this issue, it would be great and more pleasurable to stay. Other than that, it was a good stay. Thank you!

This places very cool then we can see the clouds from our sides room in the morning… the view very nice… their staff very friendly… thank you Sunrise Recreaction hotel… till we meet again… nice places and nice view…

An interesting and very satisfying place, I recommend that if you come to Kundasang, you can stay at this hotel. The view from this hotel is very attractive. If you don't stay here, the good staff always ask if you need help. Delicious food and drinks, beautiful and clean rooms with a beautiful panoramic view.

The hotel location is at straight area where can get foods and shoping nearby the hotel, will stay here again when come here.

Location is very nice. Near to Kundasang village. The hotel is recently renovated. The view from the room is amazing. There's a dinner buffet offered during our stay which is during Ramadan. They also cater Sahur or early breakfast. Parking also not a problem. Scenery around the hotel also very nice. Overall very recommended place to stay if you visit Kundasang.

Strategic location, clean, peaceful, not noisy and crowded The water pressure is not strong and the water heater does not work well

What an experience listening to the music of nature before sleep and viewing the magnificent Mt Kinabalu through the window while laying on the bed in the morning, time is illusionary. Room is clean though a bit small. There are restaurants down around the mountain side. A good hide away for inner healing.

Dairy farming may not be the first thing that you associate with Malaysia. As a tropical southeast Asian country, Malaysia does not have a large Dairy industry. However, the unique cool climate in the mountain region of Sabah provides the perfect conditions for grass-fed cows and Dairy production. This farm supplies the region with fresh dairy products including fresh milk, yogurt and cheeses. AND their ice cream is super tasty.
