Booked this place for a quick night stop before heading to KK. The room was okay for the price. Read the description in Trip.com it says the front desk service is 24/7 (it's hard to find 24/7 homestay reception counter in Kundasang so I make the reservation immediately). Contacted the property to inform them that I will be late check in just to make sure I have a smooth check in process later when I arrived. Then I was told that they will put my room key in a self check in box. I asked whether there will be an instructions they gonna send to me for the self check in process and the person in the chat said no. "It's just a simple pull out box with the guest name on it and the room key will be inside" that's what they told me. When I arrived there were NO KEY BOX TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE!! I even search all the cabinet drawers like some kind of thief !!!! It was rainy and windy and I even walked from the reception counter to the hill where their homestay units are located just to find the keybox that they mentioned. Called them few times and no one answered. I was freezing and wet searching around for 30minutes until there was this 1 staff came out with her sleepy face walked to the counter to assist me for check in. I asked her where is the keybox that they mentioned earlier in the chat and she said "we didn't put your room key in the keybox yet" (the person that i contacted was not her but one of the property owner). This is soooo ridiculous!!! Their customer service was sooooo BAD!!!!!!
