Dinner choices are good. It’s only al Carte and not buffet. Good hotel to stay in Kumbakonam. It’s a little outskirts bt in terms of cleanliness is clean.

Very good hotel with nice services. Staff were very helpful and polite. Food was delicious and accommodations are very peaceful. Unit head Mr.Brindhavan was very much reachable for any guidance. Visited few temples and Swamymalai temple. Overall had a wonderful stay.

Nice hotel but was shocked with sewage smell in passage when it rained. The front office was informed but nothing was done about it. The hotel does not have much varieties for vegetarians. North Indian dishes are not yet up to mark The pros- South Indian dishes are good. The front office staff and restaurant staff are really good, courteous, friendly. Rooms are big spacious bed is King size. Hotel Ambiance is really good.

Good Hotel and possibly the best in in the vicinity. Good Food during breakfast. Rooms are clean and fir for purpose. Close to many important temples. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Restaurant is also good and got great option for dinner/lunch

We stayed in Cholaa Dynasty, Kumbakonam for 2 nights considering the proximity to the temples were supposed to visit. A decent hotel, but they need a professional management to take care of their customer requirements. Pros: - Decent property with greenery around and very close to the highway without any traffic noise - Clean and spacious AC room with balcony - Clean bed and bed sheets Cons: - We couldn’t find any decent restaurants on the way from Tiruvannamalai to Kumbakonam. We checked into the hotel late in the afternoon without having lunch on that dat. After a long drive and we were really hungry. After checking we were informed by the front-desk that their restaurant is open for in room dining only. But when we called their restaurant over phone and tried to order for food, we were surprised to note that they close their kitchen from 3pm till 7pm in the evening and only few snacks with coffee / team would be made available only after 5:30pm. There was major communication problem between the front desk and the in-house restaurant. No other restaurants are available nearby. We were really tired to drive again to some other restaurant and were compelled to wait till 5:50pm to get some pakodas with coffee. Restaurant guy assured that they will take care of our dinner order after our visits to nearby temples. We came back to that hotel after temple visits at 7:45pm and ordered few south Indian dishes. The attendants were walking up and down but didn’t bring ordered food even after 45mins. After repeated reminders they brought the ordered food after one hour! You can have food in their restaurant only if you have plenty of time and you are not hungry. They had good breakfast spread in the morning, but dosa was horrible. I didn’t expect undone dosa in Kumbakonam! They have good restaurant staff, but I think they don't have a proper system in place for preparing the ordered food within a specified time! - They have a party area in the garden behind the hotel, very close to the rooms. They had some party organized in the evening from 6pm onwards with loud music. The loud music went on till late night without stop and we were told to adjust since the party was going on. We wanted to leave the hotel early in the morning to other temples, but it got delayed due to loud music which caused disturbed sleep in the night. Don’t ever take the rooms in the backside of the hotel, which is close to party area. - Very low water pressure in the bathroom shower. You need extra time to take bath. - Towels are not clean. - They will clean the room only on request even if you are staying for more than one night.

Room was spacious and well air conditioned. The Room and the Bathroom was also clean. Was able to let my 1 year old daughter roam around the room without any worries. The staff were really friendly. We also had a nice breakfast at the buffet. This was our second time and will always continue to come hear wherever we are near Kumbakonam or Swamimalai.
