During our Kumbakonam temple visits, we stayed for two nights at Lilac Hotel. This hotel is located outside the crowded area of the city and it is a newly built one. The rooms were quite neat and spacious. We faced some delay with the booking, but check in was very fast and hassle free. Front desk and room service folks were very helpful and friendly. Great ambience inside the restaurant and food served was very hygienic and tasty. They have good parking facilty in the basaement and we felt it is very secured. The lifts won't operate unless it is scanned with the room key, making it very safe inside. We have rented cabs through the front desk for two days and the charges were reasonable, however the cabs provided were not that great and that is the only concern we had. Overall an excellent stay! and we will really will visit again.

The stay in Hotel Lilac of Kumbakonam ***** with family on 13.10.2024 -14.10.2024 is a great experience . The services provided and amenities are very rich. The food both traditional South Indian and Continental are very tasty and we enjoyed a lot. The courtesies extended by the staff especially the Food Court are worth appreciating.

the stay was excellent and I wish I could have stayed another day. For families, they have large rooms with a hall + sofa etc. The food was veg, but there was a nice buffet spread on the breakfast, and the lunch, and dinner menus were fun for the kids. The chef came over to the table asking for the food review :)

I went on a 2 day trip to Kumbakkonam to visit a few temples with my parents & children. Lilac turned out to be a surprise package. Our stay in Lilac was very comfortable. The rooms, service & food was very good. A special mention of Srinivasan Ramakrishnan & Karuna in the restaurant who took care of our meal requests.

An excellent property with fantastic staff running the show. Value for money. The restaurant offers veg foods only my only suggestion is to start thali meals at the earliest. Very tasty and sumptuous food. Congratulations to the chef. Very clean hotel and lovely rooms. Had an excellent time staying there

Like any other luxury hotel, Lilac Kumbakonam provides their customers best experience, however what stands out is the Authentic South Indian food served in their restaurant, simply outstandingly delicious...also a special mention to the hospitality.

Clean, spacious and comfortable hotel in kumbakonam Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable and large. Food was tasty and good. Service was very good. The staff packed breakfast for us to carry ***** when we has yo leave early. Would like to stay here again in next visit

The property is new, and overall, it was a very good stay experience. Veg meals and tiffin dishes can be included in the resraurant menu for better convenience. Sri Ram and Kanish Fathima maintained the room well, ensuring cleanliness. And the hotel staff had a very polite approach toward customers.

Rooms very well furnished spacious and comfortable. Food was delicious and service was outstanding.Staff was very polite and efficient and were attentive to all our needs . When we had to leave very early for temple visit they packed all our breakfast very nicely .
