Getting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way.
Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff.
Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment.
Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean.
Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.

The pillows are the fluffiest thing I ever felt…..The rooms are very spacious and comfortable .The simplicity of the door design is massive.food is amazing but service wants to make it little bit faster . Evening activities and Hi-tea is superb me and my family really enjoyed it.special thanks for Mr Piyush Mr Anish Ms soniya Ms sifa & Ms veena Niraamaya is the first priority for my next vacation

The view of the room is massive and very spacious.✨Im very happy with their service and food especially reception is doing a great job.they guide us for activities that we can do in kumarakom. We enjoyed the village experience very much. And also we tasted the toddy. It’s very tasty and a new experience to us. The reception lobby filled with a lot of smiles by soniya sifa and veenaeverytime they are greeting pleasant face. You can take ayurvedic massage from their spa the therapist vishnu is doing a great assistance for us.specal thanks for service team,chef,pradip and entire team

Hotel is Upto the mark and very friendly staff and very good spa. Excellent food, swimming pool was also good and well maintained. Amazing view from lake view rooms and and even the private pool villa were superb to enjoy. A must stay whenever visiting Kumarakom

Niraamaya Retreats Backwaters and Beyond is a one of a kind hotel experience. Set alongside the Backwaters of Kerala, cosy villas catering to each and every need set the tones for the perfect getaway. The sunset views from the rooms are surreal. The washrooms have outdoor showers which provide the perfect connect to nature whilst relaxing. The food here curated by Chef Jomon is exquisite and full of flavor. Special mention to Chandralekha, the General Manager for going the extra mile to make our stay flawless ! Added mentions to Sifa, Piyush, Anish, Sandeep and all the restaurant, spa, engineering and housekeeping staff !!

The stay was excellent. Resort and facilities are really good.The night Staff justin and Tejas was really helpfull with lugagge while raining and Food is v good. Kids had a lot of fun as well. V close to the backwaters and can be reached without any issues. Definitely a must stay

Paradise on earth . What a lovely property . Enchanting destination with an unforgettable service. The view to the Vembanad lake is breathtaking . Impeccable service with attentive and friendly staff. A special mention of the property manager chandralekha and her exceptional hospitality made sure that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of.A big thanks to the entire team of Niraamaya .

One of the best experience we had in our kerala trip. This resort is located in one of the most stunning locations. The property is well maintenance, absolutely clean and done to perfection. We stayed in a luxurious villa with a private pool. It was one of the most stunning villas. The facilities provided inside the villa were very satisfactory. The best part was the open shower provided in our bathroom, which according to me was the biggest USP of the room. The staff is very polite, very courteous, very humble. The restaurant in this resort provides one of the best authentic Kerala cuisine you will ever taste in the state of Kerala. The resort makes sure that we connect with nature and ourselves with abundant Greenery and yoga sessions. The spa was a good experience, but I see a of scope of improvement in the massages. The resort also provides a glimpse into the kerala culture through various cultural activities performed on a daily basis in the evening. Overall, this was one of the most pleasant and highly satisfactory experience we had in Kerala and one of the top five experiences we had throughout our travel journey. I do recommend everyone to experience this.
