The room itself was acceptable for the price — small but clean enough for a short stay. The bathroom flooded easily during showers, but that could have been tolerated if the service had been decent.
Unfortunately, the reception staff (both the women and the man) were slow, clueless, and completely unsympathetic. They had no understanding of tired travellers arriving late or needing a quick checkout. Instead of being helpful, they consistently made simple processes slow and stressful.
The final insult came at checkout, where they falsely accused me of leaving bloodstains on the pillowcases and tried to withhold my 50 MYR deposit. This was humiliating and occurred in front of other guests. I firmly denied it and eventually recovered my deposit, but the damage was done — it was an unprofessional, disgusting scene that no guest should be subjected to.
The security staff was equally poor — there was always a guard seated next to the entrance who never assisted. Instead of helping guests with the door, he commanded guests to press an obscure exit button to leave and demanded that they scan their card when re-entering. A complete waste of space, offering no actual security, no welcome, and no service.
Overall, the combination of incompetent reception, humiliating treatment, and useless security made this a very stressful experience.
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, especially to solo travellers or anyone who values respect and basic professionalism.
There are many better options nearby — stay elsewhere.
