Blue Water Hotel Ksamil

A really lovely stay at the Hotel. All the staff were polite, helpful and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Daily changes made it interesting. The pool and the pool area were immaculate. Bar service to the pool was great. Highly recommended. Easy to walk everywhere. Parking available.

Well what can I say. We had a wow factor as soon as we turned up in the taxi. We was greeted by Kevin who helped us in every way and showed us to our room which was very chic and modern with a smart tv and a lovely bathroom. The pool was lovely and always kept so clean so was the pool area. They also supply you with beach towels which was handy which there was a laundry basket for you to put your used towels in they always smelt so fresh of laundry cleaner. Urgan greeted us for breakfast with Kevin which was buffet style which accommodated for everyone but if you did want something else they would cook it for you. Which we did have poached eggs and an eggs Benedict which was amazing. My partner and I are big foodies and when it came to the evening meals we were absolutely astounded. We came bed and breakfast as we like to try different cuisines but we only ate out once as the food here was like Michelin star to say the least. I think we ate through the menu lol. The chefs were amazing and we couldn’t praise them enough. Tillie who we called Billy the entire stay as that’s what we thought they called him, Lillie I think that was his name was the other chef and Urgan she was lovely too and looked after our every needs. We also had Genaro who was 15 who was serving the drinks and learning the ropes he was lovely too and worked very hard as they all did. We met some amazing people on our stay which made our holiday so special. This is a gem of a hotel and would recommend to anyone.

I’m unsure whether there was a change in staff because our experience currently doesn’t meet the positive reviews at all. The reception guy was very rude/unfriendly and most of the staff seems very inexperienced (one of them seemed barely 12 years old). The reception guy behaved like grumpy teenager with a very long face and with absolutely no/zero passion for his job. Upon arrival the only (?!) baby bed was unavailable (even though we requested this up front/when booking and never had any issues in other -much cheaper- hotels in Albania). After some arguments and again with a very long face the reception guy arranged a baby bed after all. Furthermore we never got any explanation about the facilities, parking underground etc… He basically handed us over the keys so we could go look for our room (giving us a hand or showing us around would have been nice, especially since there were no other guests around that required his attention). When I had an urgent medical issue for which I needed to make a brief international call, he reacted very cold and said the hotel phone was only for calls within the hotel (thanks again for helping us out or at least thinking along….). Never were we asked how we were, how our day was or if we needed any help. Breakfast was good, the restaurant guy was friendly and cleaning staff was very nice but overall we had a very bad experience and feel totally ripped off for the price we paid. This definitely was the biggest/only disappointment of our trip to Albania.

The hotel was nice and the staff were very kind when we were there, but after we left we had to chase them for over 3 months requesting an invoice that we need for a booking refund. To this day we have not received the invoice. I even told them I would leave a bad review and they could not care less. Would not recommend and will definitely not return

Have just left this hotel- my gosh, we had a wonderful time. The staff were very courteous & helpful, my thanks go to Miguel and Arull for helping us so much to have a pleasant stay. The hotel is very comfortable, the pool is perfect and the rooms clean and spacious. The food is excellent and the chef is amazing. The staff were happy to cater to one gluten free, one pescatarian and one vegetarian with mo trouble and my cautious and fussy children were all able to find something to eat they thought were delicious. Well done Blue Water!

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights and love every moment. Service is outstanding, should be 5 star!! Good is incredible, close to shops and beach. Thankyou Blue Water Hotel for making us so welcome.
