The host: Rainer is such a great host! He is really accommodating and is willing to help out with pretty much everything you would need. He makes a big effort to give his guests the best stay possible in Luzern. He is also very present in the house so he is not far away if you have questions or just want to have a chat. Additionally, he is just a great personality and fun to be around. The place: First of all, the place has an amazing view of Luzern and the stunning mountains around!🤩🤩🤩 The house is newly renovated so everything is quite new which is great. The hostel is very clean - both in the rooms and common areas. The kitchen and bathrooms are really good as well. The house has multiple cameras thus security is no problem and you feel comfortable and safe. The house have everything you could need. It really just have a homey feeling 🥰 The vibe: The best thing about the house is the people and the vibe! Rainer has made a really good framework for getting the best people into the house. Its especially good if you're travelling alone or 2 people. There is always new people to meet and everyone is so friendly. There is also a group chat for the hostel so everyone can communicate and make plans with each other. Definitely go here when you're in Luzern!

Just amazing for young solo travelers. The best hostel that I ever been 🤩🤩🤩. The place is very nice, and comfortable. The view is amazing, and Rainer is the best host. I recommend too much this place !!! ❤️

Switzerland, in general, is expensive. And while the pricing of this hostel might seem high, it is worth every penny! Of all the hostels I’ve stayed, Rainer’s is the most beautiful. It’s his attention to detail which sets his place apart. Everything here is so well appointed and he’s thought ahead about anything a traveler could possibly want. This is a definite stay for anyone traveling to or through Lucerne.

One of the coolest hostels I’ve stayed at. View from the hostel was incredible! Rainer was an awesome host, met us at the door and showed us around. Laid back, gave us great tips for things to do and placed to eat. The hostel feels very homey. There’s a nice kitchen and dining area, a massage recliner! Bathrooms are spacious (walk-in shower!) and everything is kept clean. Laundry on site. Rainier had a collection of local schnapps that we got to sample and he was very knowledgeable about all of them. The space itself is nice to meet people. It feels like you’re having a sleepover at your friend’s place. Nice couch area upstairs to sit and talk to people, I had already eaten but they cooked a dinner for everyone to share. Would definitely recommend & stay again.

Amazing host! This place is very clean with a stellar view of the city! I was able to meet like minded individuals and made some new friendships. The place also came with laundry machine. I would recommend it for any solo traveller or anyone visiting Luzern.

Stayed here for a few night over easter. Rainer is an absolutely wonderful host and is so welcoming. The view is unreal and great extras if you want to relax in the sauna/ hottub. Lucerne is an incredible place but being able to stay here really brought together my experience. I would absolutely stay here again in the future xx

I recently stayed here for two nights and it’s actually changed my view on staying in hostels. The host, Ray, is a really cool guy, Jacqueline is great too, the facilities are top and it has a real community feel. I’ll be staying again in the future for longer. Thankyou!

Seriously the best hostel I have ever stayed. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, i really did feel like I was at home here. I would go back 1000 times over. So many great things to do in Lucerne but also around the hostel as well. & literal could beds.
