We couldn’t have asked for a more central location in great apartments. Everyone we came into contact with were polite and a great help. The hotel reception staff were always helpful at all times - definately coming back to stay at the same apartments

Beautiful little single room on the 3rd floor. Had everything I needed, and air-conditioning and fridge were a huge plus. Check-in was easy at Santi Hotel round the corner, and the lovely staff's English was a million times better than my Polish! Reception is also manned 24/7 (unlike mentioned on some booking sites). I'd emailed a few days in advance as I knew I'd arrive after 10pm but was reassured quickly that I wouldn't be sleeping on a street! Breakfast at the hotel was a good starter to the day but I'm not much of a breakfast eater and felt a bit poorly the one day I did try it so didn't really get the full benefit. Looked like a good buffet selection and a small select menu. Could hear the clip-clopping of the horses down the street at night and the very loud rumble of trams, but I'm used to noise at night where I live so easily zoned out. I did spot earplugs in the room for those that might need. Ample plug sockets in the room for the usual charger needs. Towels, soap and loo roll provided so this saves when packing light too. The only downside was the lack of lift, but I knew this when I booked and only had a single rucksack to carry - what I underestimated was how much walking I'd be doing during my 4 day stay (52km!) and by day 2 I was grateful for the chairs inbetween flights of stairs Overall, it is a lovely central place to stay if you don't mind a little bit of noise at night and can cope with stairs after a long day walking around.

We booked for the location but were a bit concerned by the lack of reviews online afterwards. We had nothing to worry about. We just had the best stay there. We checked in at reception round the corner in the Santos hotel. Lovely friendly staff on arrival. We got to our rooms The only issue was we couldn’t access the safes. I emailed reception and a they were there in minutes to sort it. The building and our rooms were spotless. Beautifully decorated. Exceptionally clean and comfortable beds and pillows. . The rooms were really warm and cosy Would definitely recommend for anyone to stay here.

Staff were ignorant and Victoria the receptionist woke me up at 2am for absolutely nothing to ask me was there a party in my room when I was on my own in bed sleeping to go on a tour the next day absolutely disgraceful and when I leave will never be back in this hotel ever again

When I seen the entrance door in the street, I thought yikes! What is this place going to be like? Room was very large with ample furniture, decorated in old fashioned European style. The bathroom was spotless, as was the rest of the room. The bedding was good quality. We looked right into Grodzka street, which is the main street, and only about 100m from the main square. It was a bit of a hike up 3 marble staircases, and the noise in the early hours of people coming back from clubs could be heard. But with a pair of earplugs all was okay. Breakfast isn't served, but easily got cheap from the many cafes around. Bargain for just over £40 a night for a couple
