Ulasan Hotel Wawel

Close to old town and 5 min walk from uber dropping zone. The hotel was a bit old. My single room was small/single bed type room. The coffee machine is in the common room. Breakfast was banal.

Excelent service. The stuff alwayes helping.

We stayed here for four nights, and it met all our needs! The people in the reception were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with everything we asked for, and they even made us a breakfast/lunch bag the morning we had an 11,5 hours long trip.:) The breakfast was standard and we both found things we liked. The only minus is room temperatures drinks. We prefer cold water and juice. The room was huge and clean and we got two single beds, something we hoped for. We loved our room so much thar we named it “the princess room”. The beds were comfortable. The orangery with a hot drink machine was a nice plus that we used every evening for our evening tea/hot chocolate. The hotel is super central, more than we thought, which was a huge plus. Both of us would most definitely stay at this hotel next time we are in Krakow, either together or with our own family :)

We spent 3 nights here and loved it! The location on a side street between the market square and the castle makes it easy to walk to many sights but also quiet. Our room was big enough for 3 people to fit comfortably and the furniture etc were very nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly, too.

This is an excellent place to stay in the old part of Krakow. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. We would recommend arranging a reservation if you want to have dinner in the restaurant right next to the hotel, but there are many great restaurants nearby. The hotel is an easy walk to a tram stop which takes you quickly to the train station.

What an awesome hotel! Location was ideally situated in the middle of Old Town, so that it was almost an equidistant walk to either Wawel Castle or in the opposite direction to the Cloth Market/Old Square/city walls. Everything was easily accessible on foot. The hotel itself had numerous wall-painted collages and scenes, along with hotel history. Very interesting and well done. Our room was adequate size with a very nice bathroom with walk-in shower. My only comment would be that the platform bed was way too low to the ground and there were only benches in the room - no chairs with backs. When you are a senior - albeit a young one - the back support of a chair and not having to sit so low to the floor on the bed are necessary room accessories. The bed was comfortable and the pillows also. Since we were there during the off season, the hotel was quiet. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. An adjoining restaurant - the Black Duck - provided the buffet breakfast for guests. If I ever return to Krakow, I will most definitely stay here again.

Krakow is a very nice city in Poland and this hotel has a great location. The reception staff is not very helpful pretending they are always busy. I sent them email with some documents to print but no one did. I got a room for disabled people which I was not satisfied with.

Spent four nights in at Hotel Wawel which was excellent in every way. Location is a short walk from all of the main attractions in Krakow, the castle, Jewish Quarter, Main Square in Old Town but still blissfully quiet. Tons of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Only took us a 25min walk to and from the train station to get the airport shuttle. Room was spacious and super clean. Bathroom was also modern and very clean. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room but a free coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine on the first floor which was even better, delicious coffee. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were attentive and assisted us in booking a couple of day excursions with hotel pick-up. Breakfast was wonderful with pretty much anything you could want, and at convenient times for all (7-10). Would stay here again without any hesitation in the future.

I stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate New Year's Eve in Krakow. The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center but the street is very quiet at the same time. I chose a single room but got an upgrade for a bigger room for free which was a very nice gesture from the hotel staff. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, they booked a taxi for me as I was leaving very early on my last day. The room was crystal clean and nicely decorated, with 2 chairs, a TV, a desk and a small fridge. The bathroom was pretty big with a spacious shower. The breakfast was very good - hot drinks, juices, eggs, sausages, bread, vegetables. I received a breakfast box on my last day because I was leaving before breakfast time. To sum up, this hotel is a real gem, ams I'd stay here again anytime.

Overall nice stay. Good location in old town. Room was pretty quiet. Breakfast was a very nice variety. Liked the ironing room. Guest access to coffee machine was nice. Had hotel access to a really good restaurant- Black Duck. Only two cons- Drapes were not blackout, allowed way too much light in room. No charging ports for phones.

Stunning Hotel just far enough from the main pedestrian walkways. Really quiet but within a couple of minutes away from the popular Square . Check in was faultless and the Member of staff showed us a map of the local area without being asked. All staff during our 3 night stay were superb and very pleasant. Breakfast served from 7am was excellent and they offer a boxed breakfast if your out early for the day. The Breakfast room turns into the Black Duck restaurant at night which booking is required as it’s very busy. Only slight downside of the Hotel is they do not have a bar where you can just go for a drink but there’s a lovely place just across the road. Rooms are large although the bed is very low . No tea / coffee in the room but there is a machine in the Orangery. It’s a 20 minute walk from the Train station which we found out on the first day. On our last day the Hotel organised a taxi for us with a very reasonable cost of £42 for a minibus for 7 people. Great Hotel , great staff, great location.

There's much to like about this hotel. The location is a quiet side street, easily accessible to the main areas to visit. The staff, helpful and approachable, and an extensive choice of continental breakfast options. But. My word, the mattress. There's firm and there's hard. And the mattress was solid.A well sprung, quality mattress , a decent pillow and a comfy chair to sink into would have made this a perfect stay for me. But, if dropping off to sleep is not an issue for you, this is charming hotel to stay at.
