Good hotel.Jotel been well upgraded. Look new. Reception frarah excellant. Meet director of room Bernard, amazing guy and wealth of knowledge, humble and good public relation. Room 830 only issue was TV all the channel need to adjust or fix screen not clear (running line).Young Bell boy with spetical amazing(selfie photo) . Good knowledge on local area.. I love your rain shower wonderfully cold water shower the best among other hotels. Did not have any photos A I am return guest. See you soon.

Plus points 1) good location, next to many eatery options, a self 24hr Laundry is behind the hotel, and 2 convenience store walking distance. 2) i booked a 3 room unit, super big unit! 1500 sqft or more i think, bigger than my condo. 3) friendly staff. 4) simple but delicious breakfast 5) nice view from balcony, and near to jetty to island hopping! (See pic below) Bad points 1) hard to park, no hotel parking, have to find nearby public parking spot.

Good for price. Average breakfast spread and taste. Spacious room. Friendly and helpful front desk. Will come again. Less shower water pressure for normal room compared to deluxe room. Average TV channel (proposed upgrade to smart TV)

Hotel grandis is the best hotel I have ever stayed in kota Kinabalu this is my second time stay at the hotel. Before I have stayed in Hilton, Mercure, Hyatt but still I feel grandis is more comfortable because of its location, easy access to mall, big rooms, comparing other hotel like Hilton, Mercure the rooms are very small no bath tub or sea view. We book a deluxe room in grandis we had a sea view, the rooms are spacious, bed is very comfortable my kid enjoyed the bath tub, perfectly organised room, swimming pool and gym also available at the roof top. Good thing is that they have paid parking, buffet breakfast was pretty decent,easy access to Suria Sabah mall.

The location is a bit far from the city centre but easily accessible with car. The BEST part of this hotel is they have parking for the guests. The room is spacious and clean. The checkin process took around 15-20 minutes. But checkout is very fast. They have cafe, gym, swimming pool. They provide basic amenities. BUT the bathroom cleanliness need to be improve. The sink, toilet seat and the bathtub got mold on it. The ac is not cool enough and the ceiling fan is not working or maybe it just a decoration ? I tried to contact the front desk but no one answering. No slippers. The iron board needs to change.

Luma Hotel was incredible and very clean! It had a pleasant fragrance throughout. The bellboy and attendant were outstanding. The hotel is conveniently located next to Imago Shopping Mall—just a short walk across a bridge. It’s also near several convenience stores and Chagee. The staff provided excellent service, assisting us by storing our luggage while we waited for our flight. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

All ok, only when we check in the room got weird smell. The breaksfast not many choices. The room is clean. And the hotel design is very nice. The baby cot also new and comfortable, only the blanket not aesthetic. The staff ALL FRIENDLY.

Really bad staff - they spoke really bad English and they weren’t helpful at all . The door of the restaurant says open until 11pm , I arrived before 9.30pm , reed the menu and then when I was about to order they said the restaurant closes at 10pm and they don’t serve after 9.30pm. I’ve checked the watch and it was 9.32pm - and all they said was “sorry sir” with a smirk on their faces Next day I asked I went to the concierge for some tips regarding the tour to see the Proboscis monkeys and he couldn’t explain anything at all. Also asked for some recommendations regarding where I could have a good steak he couldn’t also advise a restaurant. Finally i put the car in the reception. No one explained how the system worked. I had to wait for someone that spoke proper English to come and explain. If I was in a 2 star lodge in the middle of nowhere I could understand such a bad staff but this was in a 4 star hotel in the capital of Sabah

The Borneo Beach Villa is an unbeatable spot for a nice calm vacation. The beach is just beautiful although you fill find plastic stuff here and there. For younger (and older) children it’s perfect since the waterline is flat and you can walk easily 30-50 meters into the water. The waves are nice. there is no lifeguard on duty but you don't need one. Don’t expect a new hotel for this price. We had nice beach front villa at the southern end of the site. At low tide you could walk the stays directly into the water, at high tide you need to go to the beach 100-200m. The sunset is beautiful. Hotel location would be 10 of 5 stars! Make sure your Grab app works so you can order food since the restaurant is quite pricy for the offerings. Also getting away with a taxi will need some time and Grab. Go shopping and bring your own snacks and drinks upfront to enjoy the evenings. The breakfast is okay for the 3 days we stayed there but lacks some variety. They have a nice egg station for omelette and other things. You are in nature so you need to be prepared for mosquitoes, sandflies and a cockroach here and there. But this is nothing which is really dramatic and can happen at the best places. We had all required sprays and used them when necessary. Some outdoor mosquito smoke lamps can also be useful. Overall the family was very happy about our time there. The house is older but all items were functional. In case of support the technician was there in 15-30 minutes. For the low price it’s a good place with a wonderful beach but if you don’t want to compromise quality furnishings or need nightlife this is not a suitable spot.

Strategic location right at the KK city centre. 15min drive from the airport. Easy access to all shopping malls. Excellent sound proof room against the main road traffic. Serve good breakfast. However, the variety of dishes is quite similar such as nasi lemak, pineapple fried rice and fried noodles. I personally thought that the hotel could provide something better than that. Anyway, it was a good stay and definitely I'll come back to the hotel again. Thank you.
