Astron Hotel

Just come back from 10 days in Kos. This hotel is in a great location with stunning views at breackfast and evening drinks. Hotel is very clean and well looked after. Family run and the team of staff from the reception to cleaners were fab, could not do enough to help and were always smiling. They all work so hard love the bar staff. Room was cleaned everyday and was a good size with a pool view. We used it as a base so was good, the only thing was not enough plugs. But 2 people managed to make it work. Breackfast - always found something to eat loads of variety. Pool area really nice and relaxing actually had no sunbed wars. Only thing I found it needed was music. All in all a great hotel and Me and Mum will be returning very sad to be home really missing it.

What a beautiful location for this wonderful Hotel.The view having breakfast is breathtaking .We loved sitting watching all the boats going out each morning. Breakfast was adequate plenty of choice daily. the location is spot on right at the Harbour.You can go left to the beach in a few mins and go right to the heart of Kos Town . The rooms facing the Harbour have the most amazing view and to wake up to that each morning was just fabulous .We found the cleaning lady came daily to clean our room, and gave us fresh towels and she was always smiling and polite. The Front staff could not do enough for us, they were polite and friendly and most helpful especially William who went above and beyond to accommodate us. last but not least the Pool area is lovely and comfortable and you can be lucky to find two Thurtles that live there I believe for a long time and their baby which is two.how fab is that. This Hotel has an amazing locaation that draws you back for sure it has Wonderful staff and a lovely Poo area. We have already booked to go back again, as have a lot of people that we met during our stay.

This hotel is a little gem right on the harbour-front in Kos town. It is basic, but very clean and comfortable. The staff are so welcoming and genuine. Air-con in all the rooms too. The pool terrace at the back is great. Very private. Not a massive size, and not a lot of sunbeds .. but there always seems to be enough to go around. The pool has a waterfall spout and water jets, and there is a separate kiddy pool and a cool (but not cold) whirlpool as well. Despite being right at the harbour the hotel is very peaceful and tranquil, especially around the pool. It only offers B&B, but there is a good selection available for breakfast, and sitting on the front terrace watching the comings and goings in the harbour is a real pleasure to start the day. This was our second stay at the Astron, and we’ll be back. Special mention for William at reception who made us very welcome on arrival having remembered us from the year before. Also for Katerina who looks after the terrace bar, and Jenny at the pool bar. They all work hard to make sure we have drinks and snacks during the day, and with a smile. I really shouldn’t be writing this review because I want to keep it a secret all to myself ❤️

We stayed on the harbour at the Hotel Astron. The hotel is in a great position, but the rooms are dated. I would say they are recently decorated, air con, fridge, no safe, but safe in reception that you pay for. Pool, bar and basic breakfast. It's in a lovely position across from the harbour so it's very close to everything, the ancient sites, bars and restaurants. We requested a room with a shower due to a disability. The shower room was old style, needed a refurb. The drain in the floor was repaired twice whilst we were there, it kept falling through the floor leaving a hole so we had to cover it with a stool incase one of us caught our foot in it! I'd requested a accessible shower, but it had a high shower tray, about 6 inch high. No hand rail so I felt unsafe and it had a nylon shower curtain which allowed the floor to flood. We were told at hotel check in they were full and realised there was no chance of changing rooms.I suspect they knew the room wasn't ideal for people with disabilities. Later I noticed as we walked along the corridor past other open rooms doors that they all looked much better than ours. Think we drew the short straw! I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely hotel in an amazing position on the harbour. A stones throw to all the bars and restaurants. Nice hotel bar with an amazing view. Beautiful pool. Large for the centre of town. Staff so friendly especially the young lady at the pool snack bar. Good breakfast included. Just 4 hot items but loads of continental choices. We had room at the back overlooking the pool. Room was spacious enough. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice , friendly welcome at reception on arrival and even though we were earlier than normal check in time we were given all 4 sets of room keys so could go straight up to rooms . Rooms could do with a bit of renovation but were clean , have TV , hairdryer and also kettle with coffee /tea sachets for use & small fridge , balcony overlooked the lovely swimming pool area . Breakfast very good with plenty of choice and self service coffee / tea & juice machines . Breakfast room and bar have lovely seating area overlooking harbour . This hotel is in a great spot , close to ferry port , near harbour and all that Kos Town has to offer . We would definitely return to this hotel .
