Astir Odysseus Kos Resort and Spa

Super nice stuff, great food and very nice resort. Any time again! I injured myself during the stay and they called every day to ask for my well being, which was unique to me. Besides they granted us free lunch and mini bar once we switched the rooms. Greek hospitality is known to be great but this was just fantastic. We will surly come back!

Brilliant family all inclusive. Food is incredible with our favourite the daily bbq by chef Takis - whole sea bass yum - part of inclusive package. Great spa treatment by Katarina. All staff are fantastic with our favourite Ksenia in the main restaurant greeting my 4 year old by name every day. Very good entertainment by the onsite crew with family shows at 8pm followed by a mixed variety of shows. The best was the beach party with belly dancers and fireworks. Our older son would play football at the near by pitch while other kids watched the show. Overall brilliant all inclusive for families

My reviews get boring these days but again what a holiday . The hotel just doesn’t disappoint . We are greeted with open arms , staff like our family . So accommodating and friends . My daughter was unwell and honestly the reception staff couldn’t do more for us . Including everyone checking up on her until we left ( she was ok just a chest infection ) . Literally everything was perfect . Food I think has improved ! Rooms SO clean . Service impeccable . Thank you from us and love to all .. especially Irina Anita and Eri Miss Emma and Miss Lily

Beautiful hotel in Kos for all the family. We loved it all. Great setting. Lots of Pols and space. Room was excellent With a huge Balcony and great Views. Very quiet to sleep. Staff in restaurants were lovely especially Anita and Stella. The only area where we did not love the staff was the main bar where the staff were Less Friendly - although maybe they were just busy. We loved the beach bar. Overall we had a very relaxed holiday with good food choices for breakfast and dinner Lots of sunbed availability by pools and on beach . Minibar filled daily and room amenities and cleaning were good.

A great family stay in this beautiful hotel. I will try to give an exhaustive list of all good and negative points, but the main thing to remember is that we had a great stay in this hotel. Positive points: 1 - The hotel in itself is very nice, comfortable, big (but not too big in reality when you are there). 3- The pleasant and spacious rooms (for family rooms, prefer those upstairs), with all the amenities. They look good and they are good (bed too). 4 - The sea / pool facilities. There are many choices or very nice pools and the view from the sea is simply stunning over other Greek islands, Turkey. Maybe the best view we ever had. 5 - The very pleasant swimming pools and the choice for children with two very large children's pools. 6- The good quality buffets, although not exceptional the choice was big and it was always good. Negative points: 1 - We did not appreciate being somehow 'forced' during the mini-disco to buy the shirt from the hotel for the kids. Basically at the end of the show a 'lion' comes and calls the name of the kids that have been offered a shirr by their parents, in front of all the other kids. This is not professional and not a great way to do business we strongly recommend the hotel to think again about this practice. 2 - Although comfortable we found the place for breakfast / diner of the buffet, inside, to be looking rather like a cantine, not a 5 star hotel. The outside to the contrary was beautiful. 3 - we got a bag full of toys stolen during the mini disco and would have appreciated a better handling of the situation by the hotel. 4- We were on the first floor family room and had a nice view and comfortable space. We do not recommend the rooms on the ground floor that do not give the same level of privacy, as you are directly outside, where people see you and have no space. 5 - the pools are not deep at all with a maximum depth of 1.50m. This is not really nice if you want to swim, also makes the water hot. For the beach it is full of stones and you need sea shoes if you want to go swimming and this is not comfortable.

Simply brilliant. Long review. But please take time to read. Well. How to begin?. Upon arrival, we where greated with a beautiful looking resort. Our first day we had the pleasure of meeting George and chef John, who we had cocktails with. And from that moment it became clear this was going to be a lovely stay.  The food.  Absolutely beautifully presented, and a very wide range to choose from, and very tasty.  Hard to say which was my best meal. The veal or the beef Wellington.  Chef John, has an eye of detail.  Well done all. The resort.  Being a 5 star. Which is the only star rating we use. It's a shame you can't get 10 star.  You clearly deserve it. Everything was so clean, and again beautifully presented.   The Staff. Absolutely everyone was extremely customer focused.  The cooks, waiting staff, cleaners. All very well dressed,  and the bell boys, looked very smart.  The management.  Not once did a member of management walk passed without saying morning,  or hello.  This is a nice touch.  The pools.   Absolutely spotless.  We watch the pool cleaning team most mornings from our balcony,  all cheerful and didn't miss a thing. And considering we spent most of our time there. It's was fabulous.  The rooms. Well, we decided to just have a standard room with garden view.  We had room 113. It was just right for us, and cleaning was done brilliantly every day.  We loved it.  The gardens. I have not seen such well kept garden areas ever. And such a lovely range of flowers.  On the walk down to the sea, you are overwhelmed by the smell of them, beautiful.   The entertainment.  Simply brilliant. Not much more I could say, loved the belly dancing.  Our verdict.  We chose the Odysseus, as we are looking for a place to stay after our Wedding in June 2025. And we are very excited to say, we will see you then. Please Please,  pass this to all department heads. You tick all our boxes. We will of course be leaving a review on trip advisor.  It's only a shame that we can't leave more then a 5 star review.  If we could we would.  Finally.  A very big thank you for making our stay with you, one of the most relaxing, fabulous 10 days we have had in a long.
