Korora Bay Village Resort

Hey fellow Trippers, Just wanted to drop a note about my stay at Korora Bay Village Resort. As someone who has spent plenty of time in and around Coffs, I've gotta say this stay wasn't the greatest: • Vibes: The place feels like it's stuck in time. Could really use a facelift, especially the rooms. • Upkeep: Some corners of the resort are looking a bit rough. A bit more TLC could go a long way. • Staff: There was this one manager, Julia, who kinda gave off "Karen" vibes. She didn’t seem too thrilled about kids having a good time, which kinda put a damper on things. After this experience, I'm unlikely to be back as there are plenty of better options available like Smugglers on the Beach. Hope the owners/management take this feedback to heart to make things better for everyone coming through.

Dear Korora Bay Village Resort Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our stay at your resort. As someone who has previously enjoyed stays at other local hotel/motels and is also a local resident, I found this experience lacking in several areas: General Condition of the Property: The overall ambiance of the resort feels outdated and overdue for a renovation. The rooms, in particular, could benefit from a significant update to bring them up to modern standards. Maintenance Issues: There appears to be a noticeable lack of maintenance throughout the property, which detracts from the guest experience. Customer Service: My interactions with one of the managers, Julia, were less than satisfactory. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, particularly towards families with children, which made our stay less enjoyable. It felt as though there was an expectation for guests to not fully partake in the amenities or disrupt what she might consider her peace. Given these experiences, I would find it difficult to recommend Korora Bay Village Resort for future stays, especially when compared to other local options like the Opal Cove, which might offer a more updated and hospitable environment. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the experience for future guests.

We booked the apartment as part of out trip North. Checkin was arranged on line as no staff in on a Sunday, but instructions 100%. Car park at the rear door. Front door opened on to the garden. Room was even better than what we expected. Superbly renovated. Kitchen had everything new and lacked nothing. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Bathroom all new. If you had a family fantastic games room included. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent resort with well equipped rooms. The resort is well serviced with amenities and equipment. Wifi is excellent and has no limit on devices - so important in today’s connected world. Would thoroughly recommend this resort.

Unit was nice and clean and well appointed. Kitchen had ample crockery and utensils. Only thing was the “sharp knives” were not sharp at all.

This was a last minute booking we did for 2 nights in the Easter holidays. We really enjoyed the resort with our three kids staying in the bottom 2 bedroom unit. The rooms, living area and kitchen was sufficient for a family of 5. Our kids loved the pool, the spa is very warm - which was wonderful as I couldn't go in the cold pool! The games room was something my kids couldn't keep away from. I loved the extra tables and chairs set outside so we could eat breakfast outside facing the lovely bushes. Definately a thumbs up from me. Julia was a great host.
